I hope we get a sniff of promo in the UK as it seems as US focused (however I totally get why that is - she has a tour to sell over there versus a sold out UK tour and sales of the album are guaranteed here to a certain extent).

Shame we’ve not had a performance of LCA anywhere yet….maybe it’s coming.

She’s been busy holding interviews with broadcasters across the world, such a grafter. US promo is well timed, a few thousand potential tickets sold is definitely worth it.

^^ She spent the day pre-recording interviews at her hotel the day she was on The One Show so I think we’ll have lots of pre-recorded interviews but no performances.
In some ways, I am surprised Kylie is in the USA on the release week of tension II. I honestly thought she would be in the U.K. doing promotion for the album as it’s her biggest market. Don’t get me wrong, I understand why she is doing promo work elsewhere but I thought she’d be focusing more on her main markets during release week. I can’t see tension II doing particularly well apart from reasonable first week sales and even those won’t be anywhere near as high as the other BMG albums. There just doesn’t seem to be much of a buzz about this album apart from within the solid fan base but I’m just grateful we are being treated to another album tbh.

Someone posted a pic somewhere of the album being on sale in a German shop, I’m surprised it hasn’t leaked in full yet.

I’m waiting as I need something good to look forward to.

Defo Gimme/Hung up vibes, more hung up with the muffled going into a crisper sound

Good points.

1) My guess reg album buzz is that her label isn't seeing this as a big campaign, but let's just milk the cow a bit drier with some new songs (to go with the tour announcement). I guess she's not focusing on the UK as the concerts have sold out and she probably knows a top 3 if not a no1 album is in the bag.

2) USA = like you said ,she has a tour to sell but also get her name out so streaming numbers can go up. Didn't her label person say that the US now accounts for most of her streams?! The market she's least popular in compared to EU and UK.

Even if the US is the biggest COUNTRY for her, the actual streaming numbers are still very small considering the population, so that is fairly misleading comment.

I'm sorry, what comment was misleading? It's obvious maths. Even if she can reach out to 0.001% of its population, it's still a sizeable number.

I hope she is back in the UK next week to promote as tension lost out with her away and I hope its not the same 2nd time around.

Well she is on This Morning

We know she is also going to do Rylan bbc radio 2

I mean she is in USA to sell her concert tickets as well as the album and ha some nice promo. Just look what American Idol did for Padam Padam!

She has been in France and been in UK doing radio.

She is a busy lady.

I am sure she has promo slots sorted on other stuff in UK in the coming weeks or Xmas stuff.

Liam Payne has died, very sad indeed. wonder if One Direction fans will stream them to number 1 in album charts. you just never know what happens in the news

such a shame, big talent
