The vast majority of the Girls Aloud catalogue is produced by Xenomania, but there are a handful of songs which aren't! Which are your favourites?

All I Need (All I Don't)

Beautiful 'Cause You Love Me

Boogie Down Love

Don't Want You Back

Everything You Ever Wanted

Forever and a Night

Girls Allowed

Girls on Film

Grease

Hanging on the Telephone

Hopelessly Devoted to You

I'm Every Woman

Lights, Music, Camera, Action

Love Bomb

Mars Attack

On a Round

On the Metro

Sacred Trust

Stay Another Day

Teenage Dirtbag

Walk This Way

White Lies

(I'm not actually sure who produced Teenage Dirtbag - the studio version from the "Radio 1 Established 1967" compilation, but I don't think it's Xenomania  )

'On the Metro' is definitely the gem from this list for me! Invisible Men/DJ Fresh (and Nicola!) really nailed it with this song, which I feel really has the spirit of a Xenomania song.

I like most of the other songs, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that any of them are particularly essential.

I will always love 'Beautiful 'Cause You Love Me'

I know it is probably their least popular single, but the way it elevates Nicola to the front, with flawless vocals

These four I listen to more than the rest:

Don't Want You Back

Forever and a Night

On the Metro

Stay Another Day

I really like the cover of Stay Another Day! On The Metro is definitely a gem, and I agree does sound like Xenomania.

Forever and a Night is underrated, the verses and bridge especially are lovely.

Forever and a Night is a tuuuuuuuuuuuuune. I am a softie - I always delight in ballads by girlbands
I'm surprised On the Metro wasn't Xenomania! I always had it in my head BCYLM was the only non-Xenomania production from Ten!

They did indeed! Walk This Way (Dallas Austin) and Beautiful Cause You Love Me (Jim Eliot) are their only non-Xenomania singles.

The Xenomania songs from Girls Aloud's debut album era:

- Sound of the Underground

- No Good Advice

- Some Kind of Miracle

- Life Got Cold

- Stop

- Love/Hate

- Jump

- You Freak Me Out

Hanging On The Telephone

Beautiful Cause You Love Me

Forever And A Night

I am gobsmacked that they didn't do On the metro, it sounds like such a Girls Aloud / Xenomania track!

That is an essential track for me, I utterly love it should 100% have been a single over BCYLM. My other one on here is All I Need (all I don't), I utterly adore that track, always have done.

I definitely thought On the Metro was Xenomania too! Flop stan  It's comfortably the best song on the list for me, I like some of the debut era songs like Boogie Down Love though. Love Bomb is the definition of guilty pleasure x
