Absolutely ridiculous, should be 8/9 fastest runners on an overall leader board through to the final. None of this crap knocking out faster runners who happened to be in faster heats - totally unfair.

August 4, 20242 yr A fun evening of athletics. I really thought Kishane Thompson would take the men's 100 m gold but Noah Lyles just pipped him to it. It was so close between them with both having a time of 9.79 but a photo finish made the difference. Keely Hodgkinson comfortably winning her semi final in the women's 800 m, she will probably go on to win gold in the final. 3 medals for Ukraine was heart-warming to see as well including gold and bronze in the women's high jump. Canada won gold in the men's hammer throw.
