Why are prison scenes always so shockingly acted? Why do they save the hammiest actors for them?

 

One of the supporting actors had such a menacing face in every scene it was comical

I always wondered if Chrissie could have been pregnant when she went to prison and so she was. Part of me wonders if there’s a twist and she does have an 18 year old son out there, possibly living with Jake (who could also still be alive.)

I'd lile them to have best actor and actress categories again. The man from Corrie deserved it, but I would have liked Yolande to have won as well. It halves everyone's chances of winning by just having one award for best dramatic performance.

I was shocked Emmerdale won out of all the soaps.

Lovely little surprise at the end of tonight's episode, I had to do several double takes

Surprised Emmerdale won-I don’t watch it but from what I’ve heard it’s been decidedly average for a while.

Well, I had doubts midweek but I deem it a successful return for Chrissie. Brilliant to have closure on Jake’s fate as well and also sowing the seeds for Ruby.

It would've been camp as tits to have Sonia in the same prison too. Where is she :kink: literally not seen her since she was taken away from Walford Police Station

Poor Bobby. Nice to see Ian being a good dad to him though.

 

Also love Nicky DiMarco not being arsed helping Sonia get out of prison.

Honestly they should have done a spin off series on iPlayer for a week or so while Sharon was in there, her whole prison stint was so extra I loved it :lol:

 

I take it that's it for Chrissy though? I thought we'd maybe have seen more of her on the square. I did wonder why of all the pictures Sharon has of her and/or Albie, it's one with Martin randomly in it that she takes with her, it must have something to do with Ruby :lol:

 

Bobby is annoying me just now, the Anna storyline is v predictable as well I cba

The way they baby Bobby is absolutely infuriating, perhaps if they actually treated like an adult he could act like one.

Problem is that Bobby is the only interesting character in that triangle. When it’s finally just Freddie and Anna the scenes will be a complete charisma vacuum.

Jane's casual reappearance was iconic as ever

Sorry to see Bobby go. They really have done extraordinarily well with him over the past five years. Following Lucy’s death reveal, they took the character down a route I was almost sure he couldn’t come back from. But fair play, they really invested in the character and it paid off.
