I get the feeling that with the current writing, Sonia probably pout for a minute and then reason that Reiss is just trying his best and that then give any visitors a dressing down if they even suggest that Reiss getting her arrested is a red flag.

I really am quite over Linda, The Disaster IV, again and some slightly shitty writing there getting her to "get off the drink" because Annie needs some teeth removed? Didn't give a shit about Sharon fleeing the country, Denise having a mental breakdown or Karen's multiple returns but NOT ANNIE'S TEETH :o

 

(Also Reiss lying AGAIN?!?! and Sonia just lapping it up)

I can't believe I'm about to say this but I wouldn't be mad if Suki and Ayesha ended up together, as much as I love Eve I don't love how she's acting and proposing as a result?? I don't doubt she wants to marry her eventually but it just seems like she's only doing it now bc she feels threatened. It's actually been really nice to see Suki being able to share both her queerness and culture with someone else who understands both. I like Ayesha as a character so far so I do hope she sticks around. I don't know what they'll do with Eve if they go down that route though.

I'm sure Suki at the least will kiss Ayesha but how it will go beyond that I'm not sure.

Anyone else feeling that once again the writers don't know what to do with jonny carter, for a recast character once again I really thought he would have more of a role by now.

 

He was brought back to simply aid The Six storyline but agreed he needs something (not a Callum romance) to run alongside

I really don't like the recast still, I think unless they're going to bring back Sam Striker then the only Carter child worth bringing back is Nancy

I don’t mind Johnny and certainly don’t think the writers don’t know what to do with him but you were saying the exact same thing about Bobby a couple of years ago which was also inaccurate.

 

Johnny’s main focus right now is a support to his Mum and the Six drama. I’m not sure what else people were expecting from his return at this point? They’ve set up a romance with Callum which is something even though I disagree with it. I wish they’d put him with Felix-I thought Felix would swoop in last week when Callum left Peggy’s but he just gossiped with Chelsea instead.

 

But to reiterate-the writers clearly do know what they want to do with Johnny, it just might be that it isn’t what you imagined.

For me, he just feels like a different character! I like the new Johnny, bur again, he's v different

I really like this version of Johnny. I must admit there is a strong part of me that really wants to see him making friends and having fun but I appreciate he's got bigger concerns at the moment so in terms of the narrative it makes sense his main involvement is with The Six.

 

If he's relegated to background character after the climax of The Six, then we've got an issue.

I am still catching up. I was a month behind. So!! Let's see if I have this straight:

 

- Old Ho Reiss stole the money from Slewping Besuty's parents' money fund fie the hospital treatment

- But he BORROWED it, really, as he had to pay for the trestment anyway

- He can't move her to the nhs, as her parents phone every fww months asking, she still in a coma? Yes? Skibidi. Lol k bye.

- So he steals from Sharon, who seems fine with all these extra 1000k bills??

- But then he announces in the Vic he's hard up, and is so hard up he dresses up as a giant beaver and has to try and twerk mmm. Sharon is constantly stompin around the gaffe, the entire Square, and her business is just eound rhe corner...

- Sonia told the ENTIRE Square she is on IVF. And that don't come cheap!

- Assuming he pays up for Sleeping Beauty'spast few months... then what?? Rhe next bills will come...

I did appreciate Johnny's life before he came back to the square being a focus point in tonight's scripts. Just on this page it was picked up on that Johnny has mainly been involved with the Six storyline - which is understandable - and it was nice that the show acknowledged this too.

 

Suki immediately giving the ring back to Sonia after being told Debbie was wearing it when she died! :lol:

I was literally shouting "BERNADETTE!" at the TV. Loving that what was a quieter time at the start of The Six story is now allowing Bernie to rightfully being involved heavily given it is her brother that died. I almost thought Linda was going to confess today.

 

As for Johnny, best bit of acting I've seen so far from Charlie, particularly in the latter moments both times with Linda.
