Seen the first half, not the second! Not my fault. OTHERS fell asleep during the first part as was. Is it as good as last yeqr's? I doubt it, as it is a bit of a dip to go from murder and mayhem to ... an affair with someone getting a divorce.

The build up to yesterday's episodes has been chaotic, albeit not the most ridiculous stuff this show's been throwing out recently, but as usual it really delivered on Christmas Day itself. I'm hoping Cindy doesn't die as she's a riveting character!

 

Lol at them showing 9 potential suspects and everyone already suggesting Kojo (not listed as one of the 9) as the most likely attacker. I think if they want to drag this out, they're gonna have to avoid basically doing the same thing they did with Bobby (also not sure I'd like the show's first real representation of an autistic person leading to that... they've already made the character into something of a joke with the ludicrous fall off the staircase).

4m and 4.4m viewers last night respectively, Part 2 put the show 5th overall. Up on last year a fair bit and really strong in the 10:30pm slot to increase viewership (though could just be people not switching over after Gavin & Stacey). Last night showed how "event television" still works on major holidays

Yea George surely either knows or suspects it's one of his kids and needs an alibi to protect them as he's maybe helped move her etc but then if kojo did it, he now has a convenient alibi without having to ask for it

I don't think I'm ready for next week to turn focus on Suki, Eve and Nish. I seriously hope the New Year's Day episode sees him gone for good.

Actually I’m really surprised that not one character even tried to contact Bianca over Christmas. What flop friends.

Surely Whitney would've said to Zack she's not heard from her? Jack? Kat? Sometimes the finer details are lacking. I know they can't cover everything and I'm sure it'll be addressed on screen at some point because of the storyline cycles

I guess it was set up earlier in the year with her going awol before and no-one hearing from her. To everyone she is a lose cannon. Also although we haven't see it, there's nothing to say that Kat hasn't been texting Bianca and Reiss has been using it/ answering her. I guess even a line would've been helpful to cover it - even if it was just a line from Kat to Alfie about it, or Reiss getting/ responding to another message from Kat.

 

Although saying that, it is a ridiculous storyline. Bianca being locked away for 2+ months off-screen really stretches believability. Whitney's exit and this Reiss story have been dent in CC's otherwise brilliant tenure on EE.

Killing her off would be crazy after bringing her back, they should learn killing off characters does not always work long term especially legacy characters, Pat Butcher the best example.

The door should be left open even for guest appearances and while Gail had a complete shit show of an exit in corrie there are options for special appearances in the future.

You'd think the 19th February would ring through the ears of everyone as a date to fear in Walford and not a date you'd set your wedding for eh Billy and Honey :lol:

Billy and Honey will be at least the third classic couple to remarry on that date following Ricky and Bianca (the day Bianca’s cousin fell off the Vic roof to his death) and Ian and Jane (the night Lucy’s killer was revealed and Dot was arrested for killing her son).
