The only other love interest I quite liked Stacey with was Keerat and he ended up going to prison, it really feels like they just don't want her to have someone 😅 I think they'll struggle to find another character that she has the sort of chemistry she did with Martin and Bradley with, killing Martin was such a massive mistake purely on the basis it really limits what's next for Stacey (maybe a GCSE 🫢) so I can understand why Lacey would leave. I think if they can pitch a great storyline to her then that would encourage a return.

If we get a Shirley or a Janine return that might soften the blow a little 😪 I doubt we'll see Linda Henry any time soon tho as she's doing that other thing with Danny Dyer rn

Tonight's episode was fantastic. I was totally engaged all the way through, to the point I didn't even think I was watching people act. Uncomfortable viewing at times, but realistically so. I complete

I thought this too.

Cindy may as well have shouted, "Lights! Camera! Action!"

Just when I think I’m bored of Cindy, I have to say it is high camp to think of her lording it over The Albert

🤣 🤣 She was ad obvious as Karen when she wss spying on the 6!!!

I do like Cindy when she's just being ridiculous and like a panto villain but she is sooooo repetitive, she needs some new material

Bring back Janine and have them join forces to take over the Vic or something

I couldn’t quite bring myself to feel sorry for Jean. Everything Harvey and Kathy said to her was correct. Of course, they shouldn’t have cheated but she took Harvey for granted and this wasn’t a recent thing. He spent more time looking after Charli than anyone else even when he was working. Jean never appeared grateful at all for anything he did. Even when she spoke to Kathy she referred to him as if he were her property and that’s not a healthy relationship.

I love how it’s backfired on Cindy. Even immediately after her taunting Harvey, he turns up a Kathy’s door and they’re clearly feeling free and happy. The only person she’s hurt is Jean, who never did anything to her.

Agreed, Jean has been absolutely awful to him and even now doesn’t say she wants him to stay because she loves him or thinks they are good together as such, she just cared about having someone to pick up the pieces with her. And that’s no foundation for a relationship and certainly not a reason to stay with someone who doesn’t love you and has cheated on you.

It's just so, SO unrealistic, leaving your partner to shake up with your NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOUR!! Well, she lives DIRECTLY OPPOSITE, but still. No one would do that  He kissed Kathy and moved in... with JEAN WATCHING FROM THE WINDOW OPPOSITE!!

I can believe them splitting up, because wow, Jean just wanted him to look after the family, but I cannot see hin shacking up with the neighbour.

Oh they're copying Emmerdale! Bur Coronation Street copied them with the Nigel storyline.

Also, FINALLY, someone said to Cindy what I've been saying all along: WHAT PROOF?! lol Linda was the only one with ANY sense, and she ssid it as soon as she saw what was happening. The others have been trapped in a cycle on it for like two weeks.

Not easy to get excited for this.

Little bit of possible foreshadowing today with Zack suggesting he's going to take Barney and run off to Inverness. It's a daft concept on initial thoughts considering Barney is 16, about to sit his exams and not likely to leave Teddy and Nicola. I definitely think it's Zack who'll end up in the water though but perhaps on his own. We're just waiting for that really dark side of Teddy to come out and can see it happening here.

Is it just me or is Thomas Law coming off worse and worse each time he appears? Some of his reactions and line delivery really are not landing and it makes him look awful in the scenes he's in! Also can't deal with how Peter just constantly belittles Lauren about everything ugh.

Lauren mentioning Oscar a lot recently, makes me think he's coming back. He'll be 18 now!

Im happy with that, i always liked the character but i wonder is it short term or permanent.

Caught up a bit with EastEnders last night. The Jean and Harvey scenes were actually really emotional, because I felt for them both.

Harvey because he was expected to do so much and be a rock and then his own emotions were ignored.

Jean because she genuinely went along picking up pieces and holding them together, whilst expecting her rock to stand by her side.

But the scene where he walked out of one door, crossed the square and walked into another door and to another woman was just WTF.

At least go and kip in a hotel or on someone's sofa for the night and go to Kathy the next day... not whilst the woman you just left is watching from the window.

I agree Jacqueline Jossa is absolutely brilliant, Peter the other hand never really needed to come back. Perfect example of how connections aren’t enough, it should havw really been perfect timing for him to come back with both Cindy and Lauren back, but I just am not really arsed lol Lauren by contrast I think is a character who always manages to slot in and work wherever you put her, a powerhouse when she’s given the right material, who I think goes underrated and this episode proves that.

Peter is just as awful as his father.
