Not a return i would have expected nor would be excited about but im assuming its only for a short stint.

I quite like him after his first year was out of the way so I’m not opposed to it.

It feels like the writing is going through a dodgy stage right now. Things don’t have a natural feel and seem to be happening just because it’s been decided. The Vic takeover was the start but this Suki stuff? Eve and Avani are being manipulated but are acting like they haven’t been because the plot needs to move along?

Poor Eve.

Doing everything she has to for the woman she loves, whilst Suki says stuff about doing it with or without her and how the family are "hers".

And Suki laying down parenting roles where she is the disciplined one.

All before Avani's parents, or indeed the father, have any idea she is even pregnant.

Agreed. I did think Eve confronting Suki in the kitchen at the start of the episode yesterday was well written and fantastically acted by Heather Pearce, but otherwise I'm continuing to dislike everything else about this storyline. Suki's coercive behaviour, the cliché of Eve suddenly feeling like "something is missing" without children and her going along with it again by the end of the epsiode, Avani unrealistically now convincing Suki that she does want the baby... the lack of agency she's been through recently is really sad, with the strip search trauma too and her (unknowingly) being filmed by Joel.

Ready for Priya and Ravi to hit the roof when this all comes out!

I know but the way it’s being written, we’ll get a great scene of Ravi and Priya kicking up followed by lots of scenes where randoms like Elaine, Kim and Billy convince them Suki‘s plan is for the best and in that they’re ready to be grandparents in their 30s.

Ravi will undoubtedly get angry, charge round to beat Joel up, drag him into the street (or up onto the bridge!!) and someone will stop him (probably Avani).

Hopefully they have Ravi react different this time but please give us more of Preya.

This is just not landing at all. Not one good storyline atm. Oscar is now atrocious too.

I quite like Oscar but trying to believe he's a teenager is difficult, like extorting £5k from a schoolboy is just ???? What age is Mike meant to be?? At that age you still don't understand the value of money fully, you'd ask someone for a £50 and think you're loaded

So if Joel’s mum is messaging Ross, does that make it less likely that she’s Zoe?

This seems a bit rinse and Repeat for Patrick, isn’t he always being attacked/robbed?

So that’s Eve sucked in. I don’t even buy this ‘she needs a chance to be a proper mum’ rubbish. She’s had FOUR children. Her abusive husband existed but was in prison for TWENTY YEARS and in that time she had complete control over the parenting. In that time she stitched one her kids up for prison where he died.

And to make matters worse she hasn’t exactly tried much to fix things? Vinny is the last one hanging around and she treats him like crap still?

And extorting 5k, after going up from 2k, and saying, oh, now I need it the ssme day... basically GUARANTEEING YOU WON'T GET THE MONEY!! 🤣 The money then MAGICALLY APPEARS IN THE HANDS OF A 90 YEAR OLD MAN!!

The Suki thing is just bizarre, maybe if she didn't have kids and was like this is my only chance it might be plausible but she's in her 50s, she's done the mother thing 4 times over, surely she'd just want a quiet life 😅

Espwcially after all the stress with Keanu!! And Bernie. And she basically helps raise Avani!! Then Avani wants to have JOEL'S BABY because she was talked into it in 5 minutes.

The Suki plot isn't working for me right now either, it doesn't ring true to me on any level.

Any sort of "gangster" storyline on this show tends to be terrible so I'm really not liking Oscar owing money to some random guy... it's the only negative to his character so far.

Eve talks Avani back into terminating the pregnancy but doesn't tell Suki but whilst this is happening Suki tells Ravi and Priya about the baby which is just a mess but typical EE 😂
