Pretty sick of this drugs storyline tbh, it's the worst thing to do with Ravi really. Okie might bring a different dynamic with the cuckooing side of it but it's still all really naff (not even Harry in a vest can save it).

I agree about the drugs route for Ravi its not working and it was a lazy direction to take the character in aswell.

God that was a bad episode and totally disjointed. It didn't even flow on from the last one.

Cindy was clearly looking at the chickens because she had to get a dig in at Nicola.

When Yolande was describing her maid of honour, I could have sworn she was describing Elaine, not Denise.

Nicola and Cindy just appearing at Phil's to complain about the chickens, plus the magically fitting cage, were just lol.

Only the Joel bit is good at the moment, but even that difn't flow on very well from the last episode.

I didn't quite understand how Avani and Nugget were both getting their results today? Nugget is supposed to be 17/18(?) so it should've been his A-Level results last week, but then why not ackowledge that he'd waited to open them with Avani if that was the case? I could've sworn Nugget was talking about his own 18th birthday party only a few weeks back when Avani was getting her 16th?

Oscar telling Barney things could be worse for him whilst showing off his tag was funny though.

Ages of the teens seem very fluid. Bernie was at school for YEARS even though she never really looked young enough to be there. If you were born in the show, it’s usually consistent but if you weren’t anything goes.

Besides, it could be possible. Avani only turned 16 recently, Nugget could turn 17 in early September. And a year isn’t long to wait until his 18th. I taught two siblings (not twins) this year that collected GCSEs today. One was born in early September and his sister in Early June.

Also I’ll go against the grain and admit I’m loving Julie and her chickens! There is definitely room for stuff like this in Eastenders. As long as it doesn’t become a seven week long storyline like it would in Neighbours (last years Dr Karl and the phantom pooper was a massive low).

I mean come on. The rooster strolled straight past a sign saying ‘private Hen party’. It’s gold.

The drugs story has not been a high point but I’m glad other characters like Kojo and George were brought into the mix last week after many samey scenes of Harry, Okie and Ravi mostly just standing around. Definitely ready for it to climax now anyway.

Poor Oscar, I really do hope this is him turning a corner now as you could tell he really cares for Patrick and shows genuine remorse for what he's done. Cindy can do one with her hypocrisy, really; though I did like her actually acknowledging that Max was responsible for Steven's demise (some good foreshadowing perhaps).
