I could've sworn George said something about Gina's knee being injured? Without watching it back I can't be sure. Jasmine did push her out of the way so she probably hurt herself when she fell.

I too found it odd that Jasmine turned up in the square without a place to go that's been referenced on screen. She came back to work I guess as the episode has continued over the same night for a couple of days this week.

Both are definite plot holes though as they're without specific explanation.

I love how both Kojo and Harry are seemingly MIA yet there's been no mention of who's running the garage, Nicola or Barney haven't even been seen never mind concerned that Harry is missing, some of the writing at the moment is questionable...

Junior seems to have existed purely to bonk Cindy and constantly wear suits despite him always working from home given his office is in Dubai.

So the question of where Jasmine lives did come up tonight, it’s odd she went straight to the pub for a quiz and then to work as soon as she got out of hospital but I suppose she’s supposed to not make sense right now.

What is going on with Letitia Dean? Sharon was only back a month and is already awol again. This story hasn’t sat right, she has a granddaughter through Denny, why would she be desperate for another child of Dennis? And is Michelle back in Florida again?

Plus I had to laugh at Ian ‘what has Sharon ever done to any of us?’ Obviously except the time she repeatedly tried to kill you, you mean?

Elaine said today to Oscar that they should find out where she lives, perhaps this is where something is found out about her secret. I am not sure I particularly care, if it’s something to do with Cindy’s prison cellmate who was the reason she had to go into witness protection then Cindy is not even in the show as Michelle Collins is on a break. Perhaps it is a slow burn that will come out when Michelle gets back, if it is to do with Cindy.

I kind of feel like they should have made Freddie part of it as at least he is old enough and it would give him something to do lol, but Oscar is a far better character anyway and I think it has helped him integrate even more so it has been perfect for him. Tbf Hollyoaks always ages up characters a bit for storylines so I think suspension of disbelief for the sake of this is whatever

As for Sharon, people are speculating Letitia Dean has something personal going on. I’m not sure why she even came back for a few episodes just to be waved away again?! If she had just stayed gone I don’t think it would be as suss.

It’s a very odd period where there’s a lot not really making sense, Jasmine and Zoe’s stories could both go in a few directions but both are kind of going round in circles at present.

Some scenes are great, Priya fake interviewing Suki or Oscar and Elaine flirting and then we delve right back into Slater misery. Yawn.

Also the spoilers for today and tomorrow suggested something big was coming. If Zoe just ends up being carted away because of her mental health then I don't want it as they're certainly not doing it any sort of justice if this is the script writing that's going on.

I don’t think Junior was wooden, he just wasn’t given anything to do bar Cindy. And that was almost a year ago.

So Zoe says Anthony wasn’t the father citing that the dates were out. Obviously this, like Dennis not being the father, is consistent with what we saw on screen. But now what? Is Anthony hanging around just to randomly diagnose people? Why is there any mystery about the father if it’s now likely that it’s no one we know?

I don’t want Suki and Eve to get a baby. I don’t like that Eve has been reduced to some simpering woman who feels incomplete without a child and I just think Suki’s had enough chances. Is there nothing else they can think of for them?

Also do you think the writers realised when they wrote Oscar and Elaine flirting that Oscar’s sister is her granddaughter?

It feels like they’re making up the Zoe storyline as they go along. This can’t be the storyline that made Michelle Ryan decide to return Is it remiss of me to say this is about as successful as the Michelle Fowler return?! At least Jenna Russell was a great actress. They have absolutely no idea how to write Zoe, at this point she should have come back secretly married to Max and they buy a business on the square and she integrates that way or something, or perhaps she should have been Joel’s mum and ended up being who he attacked, anything. As uninspired as those two theories were, it gives here somewhere to build from.

Like presumably now the father is nobody we know, unless the child or father was somebody we already know, why would we care?! And now if she does have some kind of psychosis breakdown, she gets sectioned or whatever, then what?? She’s been back all of 5 minutes and they’ve made her completely unsympathetic anyway. I did also think they seem to be gearing up to some kind of whodunnit but they can’t do that again when they already did that with Cindy’s attacker last year. I can’t even remotely fathom where they go with her from here.

This is approaching Hollyoaks levels of horrific storyline pacing, get the f*** on with it 😭 It feels like you could watch one episode a week and not miss a thing, or better still skip them all lmfao

How is it sliding this far downhill so soon? I don’t even think any of the stories at the moment could even be leading to a big Christmas storyline unless Nigel dies. But they really need to keep Nigel and Julie for as long as possible because there isn’t much else?

Given Gemma Bissix has left Hollyoaks (again), it'd be nice if we could get a Clare return (again) for Nigel.

They’d be foolish not to try and hook her in for an appearance-she’s been the only thing missing from his story. We got Grant, we got Julie and now we need Clare.
