What’s worse is that the Will scene actually served no purpose other than to confuse fans about a possible personality transplant.

Really liked Josh and Sandra. Even more to unpack with Jasmine then whatever this "incident" was.

Cannot deal with this character destruction of Suki? Sure, she can be protective over Vinny but the way she behaved today was reminiscent of 2019 Suki and if anything it didn't feel right at all.

I dunno. It’s important that Suki is still portrayed as a flawed character and this is consistent with how she has always treated Vinny. They even had a massive argument about it months ago.

Josh is brilliant and so natural, but he’s brought out the worst of Kim already.

I am enjoying Bea more (as in not wanting to fast forward every time she’s on screen) now that she’s actually going psycho, I still think she should have been a short term villain and the psycho part started quicker but perhaps it will pay off.

I agree about Suki, I’m torn as it is realistic she would have this part of her underneath but I feel like her getting her happy ending and overcoming Nish and being with Eve and leaving that part behind. It’s almost like Nish has won and still has his claws in her but I guess it’s not as easy as completely changing yourself because you’ve found love.

Yeah we're finally seeing someting in this Bea story which is great, it's just annoying that it has taken so long to get to this point but maybe that was fully their intention to have us all question what the heck is going on.

Billy and Honey's house having an entire wall taken out so they've got a bigger lounge space is really thowing me off. It also means a missing bedroom so where is Bea sleeping? It's the Slater house situation all over again, which also reminded me that it has been completely empty whilst Jean has been away and Suki has just been fine with it? I hate that my brain cannot ignore these details sometimes haha.

Flawed indeed. There isn't a known reason why she dislikes Penny? Dotty was much worse

Penny is daughter of a copper but also when has Suki ever needed a reason to be protective? She never approved of Habiba either-sent her son to prison over it.

Vinny is the last child she has close to her. She’s used to him jumping to her tune and is completely taken aback that he won’t even confide in her about the pregnancy. She’s realising she doesn’t have the relationship with her son that she thought she did.

Plenty of convenient writing. Lauren just suddenly happening to need more money as soon as Mark offers her a dodgy deal, both Lauren and Max randomly witnessing conversations they weren’t meant to.

What I can't get my head around with Mark is that last time he was on screen he knew he was a Mitchell but pretty much rejected that side of him because he was a Fowler and had a different father growing up - he was nothing like the Mitchells etc. Even as recently as Vicki and Ross deciding to stay in Walford, rather than go back to Australia, it was mentioned that Mark would be looking after Michelle instead of them.

At what point did Mark become a London gangster type character? He seems pretty deeply involved and connected considering to our knowledge he's never spent much time living in the UK. Maybe this will be explored when we see Ross Kemp again, but it feels like they've decided everything we've seen or known about Mark has been wiped clean for this version of the character and we're just to buy it without explanation. I hate that it looks as though the whole of 2026 will be boring gang related stories leading up to the New Year storyline, I don't find it at all interesting.

Catching up still. Christ I love Chrissie but her acting, and Jake Moon's, have been trash tier these episodes

He needs the axe. They cloned Grant with him, when he never even met Grant ONCE, and wss a studious academic last time he wss even in London... He needs to go to save the integrity of the show.

Well, he did actually meet Grant.

But they never discussed their relationship. He knows barely anything about Grant and would surely only know what his mother has told him. They really have just decided they wanted his type of character in the show and decided Mark Fowler Junior will do.

Vicki is different to how she was twenty years ago but she’s still very much a Fowler.

Yeah I agree in fact Michelle pretty deliberately kept him away from Grant and he was raised with her in the States, so why would he be Grant Jr in personality now?! It feels to me like they make him Grant ish in place of Grant, but now Ross Kemp is coming back that isn’t really needed. I feel like it would have been more interesting for their relationship if he wasn’t like Grant.

Also Sandra is unparallled levels of diva mother cuntress I LIVE for her.

The Bea storyline is so predictable, I think I called it months ago 😂

Can't go Mark at all, I don't think they've done a good choice with the casting there either as he's meant to be like mid twenties but this dude looks 40 😅 I think they just want a villain since they'll inevitably give Ravi a redemption arc but I hate this type of character, it's complete lazy writing that we've seen a hundred times over

I feel like Suki reacting how she is with Penny and Vinny is a bit out of character for how she's meant to be now? Yes she's bound to be protective of Vinny and sus of Penny but surely she'd be buzzing to have a grandkid

Also I’m sorry as predictable as it is, Cindy and Max is kind of genius and I am EATING it up

Agreed. He's ridiculous. A 40 year old, giant unit of a man, who has an Eastend accent, and is a copy of Grant. It's just trash.
