March 16Mar 16 At least they managed to have Jessie put in an appearance as Kat via video call but agree with Liam that it's all rather comical.Great to see Cora back, hopefully the first of many more appearances. The show definitely excels at family driven moments like today's episode rather than drama for the sake of drama which has been most of Wadey's tenure.
March 16Mar 16 Love a Beale-Branning centric episode. Wadey has really done wonders building them up. Couldn’t stand Max or Lauren towards the end of their last stints but I’m now really enjoying them. I love Lauren’s relationship with Ian, it’s really very sweet. Always good to see Cora-who has barely aged in seven years-and hope we’ll see her pop in and out. Her own big storylines never landed back in the day but she’s a great supporting character. I was actually amused by how funny Vicki seemed to find her.The Slaters still need some work but this going to Lynne’s business is bizarre! Why didn’t Jean go and see Stacey and Sean during her time away instead? Is she banned from Brazil or something? And after the song and dance Kat made about having all her kids together for the first time-she misses Mothers Day because of Lynne’s dog???

March 16Mar 16 I don’t why when an actor is on holiday or whatever they can’t just refer to them like “we’re taking Kat out later” or something, instead of constantly sending a Slater off to Lynn Obviously it’s different when it’s a Sharon level break but it is so jarring when they come up with convoluted reasons to go to relatives. I mean half these people don’t bother to come to funerals or weddings but Alfie has to go to Australia because Spencer is upset that Vicki is engaged and Kat needs to go to Lyn’s because her dog is dying?!
March 17Mar 17 I've also read that Billy, Honey, Will and Janet have been "on an extended holiday" since mid-February and Bea said they are "coming back tomorrow"......but Will was shown videoing Nugget having a seizure a couple of weeks ago.
