After 22 weekly sessions starting in January, all 1,013 UK #3s have been played, and the polls to determine the best song played from a shortlist of those in each session has determined the 20 songs above as the winners, plus two which autoqualify for the final due to having the highest percentage of votes in any week from 1-11 and 12-22 respectively:

 

David Bowie - Life On Mars [93% of votes (13/14) in week 4]

Girls Aloud - Call The Shots [74% of votes (17/23) in week 18]

 

Now we are looking to find the ultimate winner!

 

In this semi-final, please vote for your favourite song from each group of 5 for the remaining 20 weekly sessions. There's a null vote option in each group if you either don't know or like any of the songs in it, or can't bring yourself to pick just one. The two songs with the most votes in each poll in a week's time will progress to the final!

My votes went to: Otis, New Order (even for the 1988 version, but only just ahead of Tears For Fears), Radiohead and Dua.
