October 11, 20241 yr I'm hoping tension is on the verge of gold right now and the promo around tension 2 might help it to finally achieve it. It was on 93,324 sales on 9th August, now we’re 9 weeks on from then. If it was to go Gold today (which I doubt it will) then it would be selling ~740 units a week on average to do that. I doubt its weekly sales have been that high though. But it’s difficult to know what its boost could be from Kylie’s recent activity. Hopefully Music Week will provide a new Tension figure on the 25th (the date Tension II charts)! Would love updates for her other albums too but I have a bad feeling they won’t be too generous with that.
