Not that I fully expected it to work (and it didn't really on question #2) but I did think a 'bookending' answer would be more likely to be lower scoring, glad that worked for one of these.

Dunno why I misread the 20th Century as 21st for the Pet Shop Boys question. Now I wonder how many more incorrect answers I made.

Just catching up with these results and oops what an epic fail of me for question 2, I totally misread it as top 20 instead of top 10 and it cost me dearly :(

Ugh, Pointless never seems to go my way, too random whether a popular or obscure answer ends up with lots of guesses.

 

I literally could only find Billie and Lorde for the Charli question, a lot of the others just said remixes still to come!

 

I guess I should've thought that way for the Chappel Roan question, but 'acquired' can be very easily interpreted as 'peaked' so I'm choosing to be bitter xx

Well my tactic of playing it like Family Fortunes WAS looking to be a very strong play up until I misread the last question as 21st century, d'oh

Some play like to play the game without assistance! I tried it a couple of times in the past just out of curiosity.

I didn't realise playing it without assistance was a thing, I just assumed you'd look up stuff you don't know and then choose what you think the most pointless one would be from the options you have. Interesting!

I play it like I was on Pointless on the TV... if I don't know any valid answers to the question, unfortunately that means failing the question
