Good evening Neliönoir and gott kvell BuzzVerse! Blacksquare, thank you for a wonderful show both tonight and in the semi finals. It's been a great contest even if Carine & Holy Molly failed to gather enough support to qualify, and we have all found multiple new bops to bop to.

Before I announce my votes I want to explain how things work in our country. The public vote was split in two parts. First round all 41 finalists were able to receive votes, and the 15 songs with the least amount of votes in total would be eliminated leaving us with a nice familiar 26 songs. These 26 songs were then played again in full, after which they received Eurovision style points (12-10-8-etc) from the 43 different provinces of Kyriatine and Mosquetania. The top 15 songs from this vote would receive our points in the final. Over 6 million votes were cast in both rounds despite Kyriatine failing to make the final, a new national record.

(ELI5: Round 1 was basically my "first impressions" round, while Round 2 was my final ranking of the remaining songs after cutting out the songs that failed to impress me enough to make the shortlist.)

Without further adieu, here are the results of the Kyriatinian (and Mosquetanian) public votes in the 167th Buzzjack Song Contest:

+01 THELONIA: Killen. & Oaks 'Love You Better' (48 pts)
+02 FSR RONTVIA: Victor Le Masne 'Higher' (53 pts)
+03 CADELICIA: it's murph, Nonô & Jimmy James 'Supersonic' (59 pts)
+04 ALTYR MUUNILINST: Mia Wray 'The Way She Moves' (72 pts)
+05 TAAHINO: Nicolina 'Situations' (95 pts)
+06 AJANAEDA: Orla Gartland 'Little Chaos' (108 pts)
+07 POPHUB: HAYLA 'Freefall' (122 pts)
+08 GREENFROZE: XG 'SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT' (134 pts)
+09 SANDÉNIA: Hayes Warner 'Predator' (157 pts)
+10 SUMMERICIA: LAUREL 'Wild Things' (169 pts)
+11 HARMONICA: ayokay 'Leave With My Love' (173 pts)
+12 COR LUPUS: Ditonellapiaga 'Mary' (209 pts)
+13 JUPITERDONIA: Alice Chater 'Don't Let My Boyfriend Get In Your Way' (256 pts)
+15 MOTHERTOPIA: COY 'Promises' (307 pts)

..and finally, our 18 points go to..
+18 LOTUNIA: Karpe, Kaifi Khalil & Delara 'Piya Piya Calling' (332 pts)

Thanks NocheLuna for sending such an amazing song, I'm absolutely hooked on it and happy to give you my 18 points! The competition sure was tough though, and plenty of songs that would have deserved my top spot. It was really hard to narrow down to just 15 songs, and Séyetana honestly JUST missed out on getting points from me (sadly a rather rare occurrence). Amazing final and only two songs that I REALLY didn't like, which makes it a little less annoying that I didn't qualify.

The lack of points so far for Jadakissnia is not very mindful

Thank you Thelonia, Kyriatine and Niceland

I know it probably won’t last but omg I’m actually beating the Khia allegations

idk what’s more painful, smashing my head against a table earlier or bombing this hard so far x

(am doing okay now dw)

Thanks Suede, Diva and Pete!

Edit: And Qween!

RontBet is about to go out of business but at least we had Altyr in our top three *.*

Are they really allegations if you're the only one saying it x

Not too bad a start, think I'd be happy with mid-table or thereabouts given I was quite surprised I qualified in the first place.

Hoping that Bronzil can remain in contention from those up top (and a great jump for Danaeviia too <3)

an 18  thank you!!

What does “khia” even mean?

Someone who thinks they are very popular but are now irrelevant

cool to see Danæviia top 5 at this stage though I expect it won't last

still expecting Mothertopia to shoot up into contention any time now

Oh my god I've never lead the scoreboard in my puff
