Good evening Neliönoir and gott kvell BuzzVerse! Blacksquare, thank you for a wonderful show both tonight and in the semi finals. It's been a great contest even if Carine & Holy Molly failed to gather enough support to qualify, and we have all found multiple new bops to bop to.

Before I announce my votes I want to explain how things work in our country. The public vote was split in two parts. First round all 41 finalists were able to receive votes, and the 15 songs with the least amount of votes in total would be eliminated leaving us with a nice familiar 26 songs. These 26 songs were then played again in full, after which they received Eurovision style points (12-10-8-etc) from the 43 different provinces of Kyriatine and Mosquetania. The top 15 songs from this vote would receive our points in the final. Over 6 million votes were cast in both rounds despite Kyriatine failing to make the final, a new national record.

(ELI5: Round 1 was basically my "first impressions" round, while Round 2 was my final ranking of the remaining songs after cutting out the songs that failed to impress me enough to make the shortlist.)

The competition sure was tough though, and plenty of songs that would have deserved my top spot. It was really hard to narrow down to just 15 songs, and Séyetana honestly JUST missed out on getting points from me (sadly a rather rare occurrence). Amazing final and only two songs that I REALLY didn't like, which makes it a little less annoying that I didn't qualify.
