If only they could do it in a more timely manner!

Agree - but as we know BMG care about the ££ over singles chart positions

I had headphones on listening to this yesterday while I was in town. First time with headphones. I really love the song but boy oh boy does it take a step up on headphones. I was totally blown away. Truly awesome.
Some songs really do work better on headphones or on stereo with good volume and LCA is one of those songs but try it with taboo aswell as that also works brilliantly. Good As Gone is the opposite in that way for me.

From SH -

If all available formats had seen the light of day on the 28th of September (LCA’s street date), then the grand total of 11395 (7649+2229+1517) would have placed it at No39.

As we know releasing all formats together is the only way to snatch a Top 40 (unless a viral moment like PP).

Huge pitty it didn't happen that way and she would have another top 40.

Would’ve been more than happy with a #39 peak! I know it means nothing in the grand scheme of things but from a chart stat purpose it would be great to still be clocking up Top 40s.

Thats my thoughts, and there is something that bit more special when a kylie song manages top 40.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t want the headline of Kylie getting another top 40, it was a big deal when Dancing got there. I know after getting a top 10 and a top 20 last year they’re probably not that bothered about barely scraping a top 40 but it would look good on paper, and they’d probably sell a bit more physicals if they did co-ordinate it since we know what Kylie fans are like with chart battles :D

Just feels like it’s one step forward two steps back with BMG.

I totally agree, the singles are so up and down regards how they are handled.

As much as I've enjoyed both tension eras I'm excited for kylie really shaking things up with her next album and I really think she is gonna go very different next time round.

Agree with this - and the fact a co-ordinated release for LCA would’ve have reached #39 you just know that would’ve got the fanbase into action to make sure it stayed there and we all would’ve done our bit with streaming, downloads etc so potentially would have charted slightly higher.

As a chart/Kylie fan it also annoys me that she could be adding to her tally of Top 40s for chart stat purposes.

^^ Hopefully they do move on with something for the Christmas market and to keep Kylie’s name out there and encourage a few extra album sales.
I really think they should at least try and get a new single out to radio even just to keep her name out there as others have mentioned and ideally it will be Taboo.
When was the last time the lead single from a Kylie album didn't get a single performance on TV anywhere in the world?
