I have just checked the lyrics to All Red by Playboi Carti and can see why it wasn't played.

The Tate song sounds fairly unpleasant to me on first listen but I find it hard to get part not liking her voice. I wonder what Playboi Carti did to warrant being skipped?

There's not a clean edit of ALL RED on Spotify so I guess Radio 1 don't have an edit yet.

Do they ever make clean edits for first look? I recall a lot of songs not played on this show when they debut then get played on the friday show. "guy for that" is the most recent example I can think of and that was over just one word

Its been a while since we had 5 new entries on first look !!

Nice to have a good few new entires at this stage! Enjoying The Weeknd track but think it lacks a really strong chorus.
