Official Charts Report

Charli xcx is currently battling Sabrina Carpenter for this week’s Number 1 single – Sympathy is a knife (2) is little over 1,000 chart units from unseating Taste (1) from the top of the Official Singles Chart.

Following the release of Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat, Charli’s 365 could make its chart debut (11) following its remix featuring Shygirl finally being released.

Sabrina could also claim a fourth Top 10 hit from Short n’ Sweet with the flirty Bed Chem due to debut at Number 10 mid-week.

Gracie Abrams is predicted to gain her first Top 10 single this Friday with i love you, i’m sorry (3) expected to vault eight places week-on-week.

Sonny Fodera, Jazzy and D.O.D’s Somedays could break into the Top 5 for the first time (5).

KSI and Trippie Redd’s Thick Of It is up for a Top 10 breakthrough on Friday (8), as is Teddy Swims’s long-gestating hit The Door (9).

If we all stay in the other thread, they can't make all of us move

I mean we can just shut it and force you to move :kink:

My Coldplay moon music cd just arrived but in their sales total they already had 180k cds, so surely they must all me counted ? I cannot see them having thay many more cds to already add? And I got the dispatch email on Thursday evening so I’d imagine those sales were already included?

I can't find the UK answer but I know in the US, it's based on when the album is sent out

Based on the drop of Coldplay's last album in week 2 we can expect them to do about 32k this week. Do we think Charli can do 40k?
Is the new Charli XCX album going to be counted separately to Brat or will they just be combined?

Combined

It would be great for brat to get to number 1, hope Coldplay's physicals have mostly been sent last week and they've not held loads back

I'm thinking 30-40k for Charli. Just depends on how much physicals sold. We know for sure the 3LP which was limited to 3k copies sold out. There's only CDs and cassettes of the remix reissue available now. The restock of the OG album also ships this week which should help.

I’m sure hmv advertising the new brat cd that came w a poster and signed art card will also help the cd sales be higher
