APT. Rose almost 4M WW streams on a Saturday to 10M streams, the weirdest jump I've seen in my life,

Anyway in the UK it rose 16 spots to number 12.

Taste number 1 surely this week also...

3.2M to be exact :P

King Bruno!

1. Taste - 488,566

2. Sailor Song - 416,167

3. BOAF - 397,810

4. Good luck babe - 367,799

5. DWAS - 349,851

6. Night changes - 341,889

7. Espresso - 337,011

8. Story of my life - 302,285

12. APT - 263,165

15. Gracie - 246,044 + 94,450

75. Sympathy is a knife - 113,448

Taste is almost certain ACR and Gaga down again but only 6k streams from last week so still potentially can avoid

come on Sailor Song
'APT.' will be that song that increases each day for the next few days and I wouldn't entirely rule it out being the next UK number 1....

I really hope it can stop the snore fest of 'Sailor Song' getting there, at least!

EDIT: Jimin re-enters at #107... coz obvz.

With how it's streaming on YouTube, and kpop's insane sales compared to their competition, I wouldn't rule out them being #1 this week. I think it's more likely than any song besides Taste

It's not strange at all - it's due to not getting full days in Asian countries first day due to time zone differences. And quite a few Asian countries are amongst the biggest markets for spotify.

Philippines - #5 debut based on 17 hours (~500k). Rises to #2 with 1.1 million with a full 24 hours.

Indonesia - #43 debut based on 18 hours (~400k). Rises to #7 with ~870k with a full 24 hours.

Once you add in other countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Singapore etc then it adds quite a bit due to having its first full days in all of those coutnries. Plus the song is really catchy so doesn't surprise me to see it doing so well!

On youtube UK chart it debuts at #2 with 419,535 views based on what it did on the 18/10. Should get to 1 million once it has a full 2 days I believe. Youtube views should help lift its streaming quite a bit.

Apple Music:

#200 Michael Jackson - Thriller

It's coming, get ready

Or to put in another way, something evil's lurking in the dark

If that's how early the Halloween songs are returning I'm a little concerned about Christmas songs in October...
Is 'Sailor Song' a joke, I don't think I've ever heard such a bad song.
Night Changes is technically #4 on Spotify if you include ACR as I can see it getting reset on Friday

Trouble is what people define as a Halloween song is very different, for example a lot of people associate the cranberries zombie as one although lyrically it has absolutely nothing to do with it , yet its lingering

Radioheads creep has been been added to many playlists as well and is lingering low top 200 on spotify

'Zombie' can hang around as long as it likes as far as I'm concerned (and so can 'Creep' for that matter)

Oh it's a tune I regularly rotate between the original and the miley Cyrus versions

Does Apple Music have a good share of streams on the UK charts?

(Also if someone can explain to me if this is good for a new track with its current position? )

It's consistently growing, but it isn't as big as the share in the US, which is about 40% now apparently.

isn't Apple like 25% in the UK?

anyway APT being #38 x Apple means little

the important thing is that it's #12 on Spotify and it's on 267K
