“Chasing Cars” was the 2nd single from the “Final Straw” album. After a modest chart debut it climbed to #6. It went on to be a staple of the early download age, achieving a huge chart run and making every year end chart for the rest of the decade. It was also the last song to be performed live on the regular “Too Of The Pops” shows in 2006.

Faster Kill Pussycat - what a tuuuuuuuuuuune

I’ve never loved “American Idiot” as much as some of the follow up singles, so I’m going for “Faster Kill Pussycat” which is quite the tune. Would have loved to see “Last Resort” here though.

Yeah 'American Idiot' hasn't ever been a big Fave for me. It's still good though but not like a huge love or anything like September or Boulevard are.

 

So going for Oakenfold to win. A tune!
