November 7, 20241 yr in the past there were lots of ties, just look old charts, 2 songs or albums both at #19, but don't see that anymore maybe now with streams they can separate them properly cos 1,000 streams is 1 album sale, but you get 1 album sale if you get 1,002 streams or 1,202 streams or 1,902 streams?
November 7, 20241 yr Apparently That’s So True is *only* 50 copies behind Sailor Song today so it looks pretty nailed on that Grossie will get it now
November 7, 20241 yr I wonder what positions Wham! and Mariah Carey were on last night's update. Will either or both be in the top 40 on Friday ?
November 7, 20241 yr it’s Joever for Gigi to ever have a legitimate week at number one then I expect Gracie will keep it for the rest of the month before the inevitable Whammageddon
November 7, 20241 yr Come through Gracie , only 50 sales behind you can do it I was about to put that but you beat me to it. She should definitely get #1 tomorrow
November 7, 20241 yr She's pulling away on Spotify now, they just released Wed's data and Gracie did 540K vs Sailor's 504K, not the biggest margin but significant when sale are low.
November 7, 20241 yr I actually like That's So True a lot, my favourite Gracie song so far. It's nice to see slower songs at the top in winter, before the Christmas songs hit. This has been the most female pop dominated year I can remember for a very long time, and it continues on!
November 7, 20241 yr and amazingly, without features! I hated it in the 2000s and 2010s when all your solo female singles had to have a male rapper ala Pitbull or Flo Rida, who ruined the song most of the time.
November 8, 20241 yr Without checking I imagine this year breaks the record for most female-led weeks at #1 of all time.
