As much as I side-eye her complete lack of her own identity I haven't actually particularly disliked any of her previous hits (actually I've liked most of them lol, I do like all the artists she's ripping off after all) but this one is really not good, rivalling Sabrina Carpenter's level of cringeworthy lyrics. Hoping Gracie doesn’t get #1 not a fan It feels like a dearth of new product that is clicking in a big way at the moment, although I'm not really sure why APT. hasn't taken off to 500k-600k a day as it feels like it has all the ingredients to do so. Perhaps it would have done if it had been released in March to May kind of time. November feels a bit transitional I suppose - heading into winter, and the dark and cold. Do as many people have as much enthusiasm at this time of year for new music? Feels a bit like people are starting to wrap up the year and think about Christmas and New Year. I suppose people will inevitably find their comfort blanket and familiarity in the Christmas songs soon enough :lol:

November 4, 20241 yr ABBA’s streams still with that new collection. Quite surprised if it’s outselling Gold’s pure sales on week two, it feels like a collectors only item at the price it is. Perhaps the label has elected that the streams stay with it, a la Madonna’s remixes album and Foo Fighters’ Essential, but it will become clearer in the next few weeks.
