So it sounds to me like NATO have explained how NATO works and have explained the existing treaty. Trump will chalk it up as a win and andone dumb enough will agree. January 25Jan 25 Another innocent life has just been taken by ICE in Minnesota today :( I know I am trying to be all jolly with my posts around the forum but, in reality I just want to be open for a moment and say that the current state of US, along with what’s been unfolding in Minnesota, has been giving me a lot of anxiety. It’s reached to a point where I feel mentally overwhelmed and losing sleep at night reading through social media. People who support him are pure evil, and there’s no other explanation to all this mess he’s creating!!!I’ve also been taking extra work shifts (flights out of US) from other people, just to distract myself and have that sort of a feeling that it’s safer everywhere else but the country where I live!!! Anyways, I just needed to get this out of my chest, and thank you for reading!!!

I'm not sure whether the MAGA ploy here is to get Democratic states to hold over their election data (and this make it easier to rig elections) or whether it is scare tactics to suppress voters. In any case, the Republicans have descended in to full fascism now and those sane voices who could have stopped MAGA have the same blood on their hands too. Trump's approval ratings are tanking so you'd expect they will try even more of this stuff pre mid-terms.Dread to think of the chaos of the World Cup in the summer. Unfortunately FIFA and one man in particular are so up Trump's backside that they won't do anything, but there will be lots of the best of the best journalists there working to expose what is happening unless they suddenly end up in an ICE detetntion centre. I guess the message here is Reform want to do exactly this too.

January 25Jan 25 Author Allegedly public safety operations looking to deport illegal criminals - based on Somali businesses allegedly committing tax fraud (don't believe that is the case); though my instinct is that the Trump administration and the Republicans particularly dislikes the Minnesota and Minneapolis governments for reasons of racism and that they tend to stand up against right-wing incursions - it's really quite unusual as a Democratic stronghold and I wonder if there is some dislike because of the population being anti-MAGA but not 'coastal liberal elites'. Minnesota's sanctuary policies are directly at odds with ICE's aims too.This murder is literally just a gang execution on the street, that's all captured on video, and yet the evil of the Trump admin is still defending it.
January 25Jan 25 To add to Iz's answer, the Trump government have been stoking tensions (which is at times a bit of an understatement as they are now being video'd murdering people on the street) in progressive cities in Dem-run states like LA, Portland and Minneapolis by sending in the National Guard and/or focusing ICE operations there in part to pick a fight with state governments, some of which may have nationwide prominence (Tim Walz, Gavin Newsom). There's certainly some elements present for things to explode in progressive islands of red states like New Orleans or Cleveland and the National Guard and/or ICE have been deployed to a lesser degree in some places (Memphis) but it's not so much in the administration's apparent interests to make things explode there, so it hasn't really so far. January 27Jan 27 In more positive news, it does look like a change in strategy from the Trump administration. Does seem like Miller is the one really driving ICE, I think he’s fairly untouchable but looks like due to the public mood and even Republicans calling out the outright lies spoken in the aftermath of the weekend, the mood is switching.
January 27Jan 27 Good thing it was caught on video really which instantly rubbished all their claims that he was an assassin or whatever and was the instigator, they'd have been able to spin it anyway they could otherwise, not that it will stop media outlets consistent pussyfooting around calling him as he is, a liar who is screwing himself over left, right and centre right now.
