Posted November 21, 20241 yr Becky Hill has just announced that Swim (the best song off of Believe Me Now) will be the next single, as a remix by DJ MK (whom she previously collaborated with on Piece of Me & Back and Forth) No official release date, but it is on sound cloud here: https://m.soundcloud.com/becky-hill-officia...=social_sharing Excited to see it getting a promo push, hopefully it can chart as it is the best song on the album and one of her very very best in my opinion!
November 21, 20241 yr Nice to see she isn't quite done with the era yet and it's a smart move to push a remix (even if the original is a bop too). Lost The Plot doesn't seem to be coming until next year now having seen one of Becky's Instagram Stories yesterday. I think she also said about a feature of some sort coming too but maybe this was it. Edited November 21, 20241 yr by lewistgreen
November 21, 20241 yr She’s performing Strictly on 8th December! https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0025x9p
November 21, 20241 yr The believe me now era was very flat so good to see it ain't done yet. I'm surprised a re release of the album hasn't been released.
November 22, 20241 yr the short preview is available on YT ops wrong audio, It's the original version (better than MK rework) IfUdkDHEXik Edited November 22, 20241 yr by JOTA
November 28, 20241 yr I hope MK's rework helps bring more attention to the original version of Swim because his remix doesn't quite do it for me. WvOxKLSsWKc
November 29, 20241 yr 10 years ago this would've been huge Yeah this remix wasn't really made for a 2024 audience was it. Oh well.
November 29, 20241 yr The intro sounds awful, and overall the production feels kind of cheap. I think MK reached his peak a long time ago. Ck_jZHnaaiU
November 29, 20241 yr The intro is MK's trademark style though which is to chop up vocal elements from the song and lay them over the top (it's the same the extended club mixes too)
November 29, 20241 yr The intro is MK's trademark style though which is to chop up vocal elements from the song and lay them over the top (it's the same the extended club mixes too) I know it's typical for him to do that, but in this case, it sounds terrible.
December 6, 20241 yr Author I agree, the solo version is brilliant and the remix has made it really quite lifeless :(
December 31, 20241 yr Just heard on Kiss Dance and they play a version without the chopped up vocal intro, took me a while to work out what it was  Wonder if this can do something now chart wise
