Thats the first with lesbian themes, Sailor Song is the first by an actual open lesbian

Does Jess Glynne not count as an actual open lesbian? Or was she not at the time of her number ones?

Ahh I see what you're getting at now

Does Jess Glynne not count as an actual open lesbian? Or was she not at the time of her number ones?

From what I can see - Jess hasn’t put a label on her sexuality, and has dated men & women in the past.

Linda Perry who sang What's Going On with 4 Non Blondes was a lesbian but that wasn't a solo single. Dusty Springfield was not out (understandably) in the 60s when she was No.1 with You Don't Have To Say You Love Me. I'm sure there are more.

A little patience is all that's asked for the post to go up first (especially given that the sales article isn't up yet and it's been much later than this recently)

Very Christmassy!

Where’s all the wicked songs ?

If they were going to reset Band Aid they surely would've done it by now. Unless they really want the publicity of it going to number 1 again and they thought it could get there without the reset...

Well I thought it’d be confirmed only on Friday unless it was a different kind of reset. If no reset then it has no hope of getting near #1 and probably will struggle for top 10 for Christmas

What happen Kendrick Lamar and wicked front
