Nice jump for Messy but still so far away...

Big climbs for several Fontaines tracks in Ireland too, including I Love You from their 2022 album. I wonder why?

I get Messy on autoplay at the moment, not sure if it's the same in the UK right now. It is also on my own playlist, but every time I finish an album, Messy starts playing.

Neat that 'APT.' and DWAS have both had turns at Spotify #2 before 'Messy' took over, as had looked likely before Christmas, but 'That's So True' is so far ahead - haven't seen a song dominating quite this much before and after Christmas since 'Dance Monkey' 5 years ago (which in today's "rules" would have had a January reset and returned to #1 for another 4 weeks to add to its 11 before).

Stick Season was equally as dominant last year, no? Certainly remember it holding up well during the Christmas takeover too.

It was doing quite big numbers, but because of the Christmas songs it didn't get to Spotify #1 until Boxing Day.

Great to see Tyla getting new peaks across all 3 streaming platforms today. Bodes well for the song climbing into the top 30 in Friday's chart. Hoping it will get added to Amazon's main spotify playlist when it updates Friday so it can climb a bit more significantly there. If it stays stable/climbs a bit more on Spotify/Apple and then climbs notably on Amazon (ideally Top 50) then I think it would be able to go top 20 in the chart without too much issue.
