There’s definitely a sense of that first streaming period slowly being consigned to history.
May 30May 30 OK if Back To Friends isn't in this week I'll eat my hat, Don't Stop Me Now will fall out. Also thinking the next oldie to enter might be We Are The People, been popping in and out of the audio streaming chart quite a bit.

June 3Jun 3 Author Can’t think of much likely to enter between now and the mid year point, but there are some definite exits on the way starting with the now tanking “Prada”, so it will be interesting to see what takes their place. I think “505” might show its face again.
June 3Jun 3 If those are the true sales of Back To Friends I was bang on with my initial estimate! Could see Shake It To The Max entering in around 3 weeks but not 100% sure about it
June 3Jun 3 Also can I have the positions of Every Breath You Take and Cruel Summer please? Think I've messed up around the 70-75 area as I wasn't expecting Say My Name to be in that region yet...

Outside of that maybe 'Wonderwall' or 'Another Love' which has picked up a bit on Spotify recently but I would think they're quite far away by now.I would imagine that 'We are the People' has a fairly poor premium ratio, would be surprised to see it show up.8 hours ago, gasman449 said:If those are the true sales of Back To Friends I was bang on with my initial estimate! I did correct “Luther” down by a few k as it wasn’t making sense that it had fallen behind “Hot To Go”, but then I realised I’d made a mistake and given it too much in an earlier week.

June 3Jun 3 So depressing we are into June and only 7 songs released this calendar year and in the YE top 40.

What a drop off, just so many monster hits last year, and of course the rise in streams for much older songs Edited June 4Jun 4 by gasman449
June 6Jun 6 Prada will survive, think it did around 7k this week.505 only did 7.5k and I'd guess around the same for Don't Stop Me Now so unless there's something I've completely missed, there'll be no new entries this week for the first time this yearOn 03/06/2025 at 22:26, Maestro said:Outside of that maybe 'Wonderwall' or 'Another Love' which has picked up a bit on Spotify recently but I would think they're quite far away by now.Another Love did chart on audio streaming for the first time this year this week

June 10Jun 10 Oof, both songs so far at the top of the 2025 YTD ('That's So True' and 'Messy') were #1 officially at the time they first got there - has 'Ordinary' narrowly missed its chance to make it an unlikely (in this day and age) hat-trick? 😱
