I was wondering if anyone would be interested in looking at this (or maybe it’s just me)? In the streaming era the EOY chart has appeared heavily biased towards songs released/peaking in the first ha

Just had a go at a full top 40, week 14 2024 to week 13 2025. You're pretty much bang on with your sales estimates, just had to change Hot To Go (it would've done a few sales in 2023 so its total woul

A Sky Full Of Stars doing much better than I thought then, glad to see another 2025 hit enter!

Do we think the whole top 100 could break 500k ?

No way. Cut off would need to go up 15k a week for the rest of the year.

What we saying the cut off point is ? Looking like everything should be well over 400k

could be similar to last year I think, around 440/450k. Slightly depends on christmas song performance.

Can't be too many current hits left that have a shot of making it, obviously The Fate Of Ophelia will be in next week but what else is in the running? 12 To 12, Where Is My Husband and What It Sounds Like seem likely, Takedown potentially?

don't have an estimate for Escapism

I do now, it's on around 333k!

I think it could be 450k or even a bit higher, which will be the highest ever I believe. Everything that’s likely to survive is on course for 450k.

Let Down is on 318k so probably not making it, don't have an estimate for Escapism

Not saying you’re wrong but that estimate is much lower than I would’ve thought, given how well it’s performed in the second half of the year!

In regards to other entries I’m still crossing my fingers for Dive even though there’s not much time left for it. Looks like it would have to get a platinum certification soon to prove it’s not far away

Amazing that that’s even a possibility but can’t rule it out.

That's wild. I remember in 2010 the Threshold was basically around 200,000 to be in the top 100 and 100,000 to be in the top 200.

By the way I‘m now thinking “Man I Need” could reach #10, and “Golden” could have a shot at #2!

Would be great if 'Man I Need' could make #10 and I agree it's looking very doable now, would just need to average about 50k a week for the rest of the year, or maybe less if the chart announced on 2 January counts as 2025.

Billie's "BIRDS OF A FEATHER" still on track for 1 million? I think it might be close given its current sales (~10-12k/week currently I think) and only 8 weeks? left for the rest of the year. I expect the Christmas takeover may dampen its sales as well.

She’s on a solid 12k per week at the moment but likely to fall a bit more. I agree it will be close. Of course my existing figure could be a few k out either way as well. We might normal know whether she’s made it or not until the official figures come out early next year, which hopefully will include the whole Top 20.

The while top 40 could achieve a platinum certification by years end.

Would that be the most in one year end chart?

The whole top 46 did enough for platinum last year, not sure if that's the most in a year-end though

What’s #82? Sex on Fire or Burning Down?

2 interesting titles next door to each other 😂

Oh didn’t realise that, thanks.

One of them is #82 and one is #84 with Daisies in between, I’m pretty sure. Problem is with my totals from last week, both of them should be above Daisies this week so clearly I’m wrong on one of them.
