June 4Jun 4 Ooft so ready for some more gorgeous trip-hop sounds from her <3 a 6th music video as well *.*I'm surprised that her team didn't push 'New York' alongside the album, as it's apparently the song behind the instrumental snippet that's getting hype, plus track #1 on the album - but I continue to trust their vision nevertheless, what a campaign this has been
June 4Jun 4 I've just received this email from HMV where I ordered the vinyl:Due to a delay in receiving the stock from our suppliers we have so far been unable to dispatch this in time for its original release date. Apologies for any disappointment that this may cause. However, we have been assured that the stock is on its way and as soon as the shipment reaches our warehouse, we'll process and dispatch your order as soon as we can. You'll also receive a dispatch email to let you know when it's on its way. Anyone else got anything similar? Goddison don't make me wait
June 4Jun 4 ^ oh how annoying :( I ordered from her store so haven’t had that so far!Zane Lowe interview dropped today:Addison’s favourites on the album are ‘High Fashion’ and ‘Times Like These’ 💖
June 5Jun 5 ‘Times Like These’ music video premieres at 5am U.K. time!Ridiculously excited for this album tomorrow 🤩

I initially thought it was "Fame Is A Gun" because it was meant to be released next as it happened, but it looks like she's saving that during the album's release next week. It's already having a lot of traction in TikTok, so it would be a waste to not use that in my opinion. That said, there's not any information yet which track is it (I assume it will end up as the focus track during the album's release week), but it could be either "New York" or "Summer Forever".To complement this, that snippet belongs to "New York" and, as expected, "Times Like These" is the focus track due to the music video release.
June 5Jun 5 'New York' has slapped me around the face, but 'Times Like These’ is the one. I am putty for anything that exists on that ethereal late-nineties soundscape with 'Pure Shores' 'Life's No Fun Through Clear Waters' into 'Headphones On' is genuinely quite emotional and feels very special — has to be one of my songs of the year 🖤It's hard to believe this is a new release and not an album from twenty-plus years ago — in the best way. It just has the feel of something that could have flopped, the artist was immediately dropped, but it lived on as a cult pop classic
June 6Jun 6 Wow yes ‘Times Like These’ is stunning:Diet PepsiAquamarineHigh FashionHeadphones OnFame is a GunTimes Like TheseWhat a run of videos Happy Addison day 💖 diving in now!
June 6Jun 6 I love New York, love New York, love New York love New York, love New York… what an earworm, I need an extended version of this banger!‘Money Is Everything’ is the least essential on the album for me, more of a silly, poking fun of herself kind of moment.‘Summer Forever’ is heavenly 🤩 my very first thought about this era was that ‘Diet Pepsi’ reminded me of Lana Del Rey and this one is pretty Lana coded as well‘In The Rain’ feels very 2000s, another instant keeper from the new songs ☔️‘Times Like These’ is my favourite of the new additions as well. Trip-hop Addison has me in a chokehold so far with this and ‘Headphones On’. Agreed that the interlude going into the latter is a beautiful touch as well.Overall this debut lived up to my high expectations based on the pre-release tracks 👏 she knows her references yet everything feels current at the same time. Also the whole writing/production team solely consisting of women feels pretty unique and special.Unlocked further motivation to pass my driving test this summer… need to blast this album in the car
June 6Jun 6 What a debut album. A new pop classic So cohesive while also having plenty of variety, no skips, nothing outstays its welcome but equally nothing needs fleshing out more. The production throughout is flawless, and her airy, breathy vocals! So dreamy. In The Rain and Times Like These rival the best of the singles for me. Gorgeous.Headphones On works so well as the album closer, song of the year potential for sure.I'm even coming around to the album cover. I just wish everything was shifted to the right, I hate that there's such a vertical line down her right hand side, the cropping is so awkward :')
June 6Jun 6 This really is strong isn’t it! It does feel very nostalgic but not in a dated way at all. Parts of it really remind me of the first time I ever delved into Madonna’s Music album as a whole album - the production really takes me back to that at times! Really also get a MARINA influence on this and shades of Britney throughout Britney and In The Zone eras. She’s really struck with this! What a strong debut too this feels like the sort of album someone would make like 3/4 albums in so excited to see where she heads off to next and what’s in store in the future. Main pop girlie energy for sure.Only thing for me id love some sort of extended version of the album in terms of track lengths! But even then nothing felt too abrupt and the album flowed perfectly too. Edited June 6Jun 6 by Jordanlee1402
June 6Jun 6 Outstanding debut, I agree that it really has that feel of a lost cult classic album. It’s hard to believe a debut could have this much of an assured sense of self, knowing exactly who she is as an artist and what works for her with such a cohesive yet sonically diverse and compelling collection of songs! It really is exciting thinking that she’s only the start of her musical journey and we still have growth to come as she releases more!! I think Times Like These is my fave of the new tracks too, Aquamarine is still my fave single but Fame Is A Gun is creeping up on that and Headphones On for me!
June 6Jun 6 WHAT an album. Obviously adore everything we've heard so far but Times Like These and Forever Summer match them in quality too.Superbly consistent with a very clear sound and vibe running throughout, exactly how an album should be constructed. I'm so happy we have this!
June 6Jun 6 As a side note, I've just discovered her 4-track AR EP from 2023 - well worth checking out, especially for her take on 'Nothing On (But The Radio)', that unreleased Gaga song from 2010, and also charli xcx collab '2 Die 4'!

It's a brilliant EP! And she's only grown further since then with this full length project ❤️
June 7Jun 7 I knew she could potentially be very exciting when I heard the demos of 2 Die 4 and Nothing On But The Radio back in maybe 2021, at the time they were going to be for her debut album but that never materialised and they ended up on the EP due to fans really latching on to the demos. Even though they were perhaps more generic, they were flawless pop songs that really showed she had an ear for pop music, she knew her strengths, and you could tell she appreciated good pop. But I never could have guessed she would these heights for such an assured and confident debut album, and I read yesterday it was virtually all written by 3 people including Addison, there’s one track with a fourth writer I believe but that’s it!!
