disappointing start from The Weeknd

but not that surprising since the quality is subpar and has been like this for a while now

 

was listening earlier to the singles from Dawn FM and almost fell asleep

Take my Breath, Sacrifice, Out of time, Less than Zero

did people really like any of those? what a bunch of unmemorable songs imho

 

compare it to the singles from After Hours:

Heartless.Blinding lights-After hours.In your eyes-Save your tears

 

'Less Than Zero' is great! Easily the best song on DAWN FM for me. Four of those five from After Hours (not so much 'Heartless') are a high bar for comparison though.

I really like Sacrifice, probably in my top 5 Weeknd songs! Take My Breath is pretty good too

He's very hit and miss for me (and sometimes miss in a big way), but yeah I think those are stellar tracks!

Less Than Zero is excellent and should have been a smash.

 

I haven't listened to the new album in full yet but Cry For Me is easily superior to the pre-album singles.

That Morgan Wallen song is superb

Decent debut but not troubling the top top then

How is that Morgan Wallen song doing so well? It's the 10x superior 'Love Somebody' that should have smashed!
