^I doubt it. Maybe in the past. But billboard changed the rules and now they're more strict (after that Gaga went top 10)

and now only official videos count, now even fan-made videos counted.

I think there were two different things.

There used to be a trend of putting music videos or live performances as adverts on YouTube, and those used to count to the Hot 100, which led to Soko, Lady Gaga getting some strange top 10 hits and some others lower down too. I think they stopped that mid-10s.

I believe fan-made videos counted until shortly after Old Town Road was a hit.

I think Kendricks Superbowl performance would still be able to count even today if it's uploaded to his own channel as it would essentially just be a "Live version", which normally are combined. If it's uploaded on a Superbowl channel I think it won't count. Not 100% sure though.

Is it normal for a song to fall quite quickly like this once established at the top of the chart?

1. Not Like Us - 772,634

3. Messy - 456,553

4. Luther - 441,615

5. That’s So True - 437,161

6. Pink Pony Club - 369,191

7. DWAS - 359,474

8. tv off - 357,213

9. APT - 352,918

10. GLB - 350,471

13. Abracadabra- 335,840

14. Ordinary - 301,553

15. Denial is a river - 279,885

21. Squabble up - 229,126

oh wow Kendrick keeps increasing

Pink Pony Club would now be #3 without Kendrick :o

6-13 are very tight though, so Gaga is still safe for top 3. Now it's a question of whether Kendrick can dethrone Lola, probably depends on the Thursday estimates!

If we add todays, 1 & 2 pretty even with 1 day to go and Kendrick doing double

but judging by the mids the difference in Lolas favour is much bigger than Spotify's data suggests

so guess Kendrick has far more free streams

Lola 541+509+432+483+470+456 =2,891K

Kendrick 255+238+226+638+750+772 =2,879K

Gaga 510+411+352+389+361+335= 2,358K

Gaga is on a freefall now sadly barely on 300K...

:ne: 131. Kendrick Lamar - Alright

:ne: 171. Kendrick Lamar - Swimming Pools (Drank)

nice to see these appearing today despite not being performed in the Super Bowl set list <3 tour hype as well now I guess with Kendrick/SZA U.K. live tickets going on sale

It’s been out a week, that doesn’t count as established at the top of the chart.

Don’t know how NLU isn’t number 1 on the official chart and the gap is still that big. Lola was number 1 only 3 days with much smaller lead, he will be 4 with a much bigger lead, he’s over her on AM for a while and bigger YT

I mean I know also Amazon and so are to be counted but still…

Maybe Gagz can claw her way back up on album release week or something?

I thoroughly despised 'Not Like Us' as it is, but now I have an extra reason to :(

The superbowl killed her momentum. She was big on TikTok with people doing dances with the song etc but the last few days it has been nothing but Kendrick reaction videos or the dances from his performance. I doubt it’ll recover so physicals on album week for the single the best chance at getting a #1 at this point

Well if you look at the numbers bjork put Lola is still ahead on Spotify and ahead by a lot more on Amazon for the week and Apple is about even. Obviously if Thursday wasn’t an estimate then NLU would get 1 or if the Super Bowl performance counted on YouTube he’d be #1 too but as it is looks like Lola might just sneak it

I think Gaga getting a solo number one in 2025 was always going to be a tall order, Kendrick or no Kendrick! It's impressive enough that she's challenging for (and probably going to get) top 3.

does anyone with an Amazon subscription know where Not Like Us/Messy are?

I guess Kendrick is doing similarly on Apple than Spotify but on Amazon I'd say the audience is less Kendrick-friendly

With Kendrick holding up so well so far and even still increasing today, I guess he can contend for #1 next week even if he misses out this week (still seems like a tall order for him to overcome the deficit from the Wednesday mids).

I would prefer to see 'tv off' resurging in the official chart rather than being replaced by 'All The Stars' really but I don't mind seeing the latter returning either. Excellent to see more songs from his back catalogue still popping up, makes sense that he's getting a further bump from the announcement of UK tour dates!

It will still be the first time Gaga has had 2 Top 3 hits in short succession since 2010 I think.

At this rate I wonder if Kendrick could be a contender for #1 next week if he falls short this week. Edit - Bray beat me to it on that one!

but won't be superbowl effect wear off? people have the attention span of a fish
