Spotify reach has actually increased a little to currently 24.8m listeners. It peaked at 41m in release week. Good to see it being added to playlists. I guess the remixes will be published same time

Over 3,000,000+ Spotify Worldwide Streams already I had a break from it and came back and it's still really catchy. Hope we get a few remixes

Up to 46 on UK Itunes

3 or 4 more sales 😆

I still really enjoy this bop

Some on SayHey are trying to tally the troops to download etc., - I think most can see though unless she can pull 10k extra sales out the bag that it’s not a campaign worth investing in.

Its hard to rally up people when its trying to achieve something like a number 98 chart position, Padam padam was easy to get people on board as it was on the cusp of going big so people easily invested in it. Its good they are trying though, it is hard when there isnt a huge amount to choose from to support, no multiple remixes etc.

Yep. failed attempt sadly.

it only did 41k of worldwide streams on Spotify on Sunday so will drop like a stone again on a daily basis

Tuesday UK Midweek Chart Update

39 (NEW) Last Night I Dreamt I Fell In Love

Sales: 4,616 (91 sales yesterday)

CD: 1,461

Digital: 35

Streams: 220

7": 2900

Aud Streams: 24,588

Vid Streams: 913

Hmm... If it managed to scrape together 5,000 sales, would that make Top 100?

Love the random 1 CD sale that’s been added since the first update and 35 downloads shows what a Top 75 iTunes track sells lol

I think it’ll just miss out unfortunately - the made up stream sales on Thursday I think will see it get pushed out.

They know what to do.....

release a remix to download even a bloody instrumental

would get 500-600 downloads guaranteed

I think another 2000 would see her make the top 100.

An extra 2,000 would put it on near 7k which was enough for Top 75 last week I think

Last week it would probably would, if sales are low again in the lower end she might sneak into the top 100 on less than 6k which means she would need to get around 1500 more in the bag.

I know it doesn't particularly matter but it's nicer to have a song chart than not and increase Kylie's tally of charting singles. I get holding off making the extended mix available to download and stream in order to drive physical sales, but there's nothing to stop them from doing it now and potentially adding enough downloads to get a Top 100 position.

I fully agree. Releasing them now can't harm physical sales and can only increase its chances of actually having an official chart position.

I wish they would repeat the formula of tension single, at least doing it that way would ensure a top 100 position with each release and possibly top 75.

Yes and it’s not as if the physical singles were marketed as having the extended mix as an exclusive.

Extended Mix alone would have boosted sales this week to guarantee top 75.

The fact they knew they had 4.4k of UK sales for this week right from the start when on pre-release and sold out and have done nothing shows they don't care about chart positions.

I do think remixes will come though as the extended mix hasn't even been put on streaming.

I don’t think BMG have ever cared about singles chart positions - they only tend to react when their hand is forced.

Dancing - they were quite happily going to let it drift out of the Top 40 until noise from the fanbase got them to release the remix download bundle.

Padam Padam - The formats came after the song took off

Tension - Off the back of PP they went for it in week 1 but then quickly lapsed back into normal ways of working with HOTN

I think for a label like BMG it’s an expensive game to chase single chart positions and their business model is signing acts that can and do sell albums rather than producing hit singles.

They clearly hedge their bets and make money off of set numbers of physicals rather than wildly over producing in the hopes of entering at #39.

As mentioned there would be no harm in them releasing the extended version to streaming and download but they clearly don’t care enough or see the benefit of an act like Kylie entering at #74.
