good call on Messy

but needs more than that for a reset

she's doing on average ca. 400k a day now

so for a 25% increase and reset she needs to do 500K a day on average

pre-Brits she will be doing 400K so post-Brits she needs the rest of the week at ca. 600K

not easy but if she has a good brits effect

I think she was dismissed from the case so "won" essentially. I'm not sure what public opinion on Lizzo is now though as it did taint her somewhat? She did a nice interview with Keke Palmer in Decembe

Always with the binaries. Her last album debuted at #2 in the US & Aus, and #6 in the UK. That's a fanbase.

I have heard this it has a synth riff that is rather 90s eurodance I think.

I'd love Pitbull to have a resurgence with his new music, I reckon he could with the right collabs.

Perhaps it's only a matter of time until David Guetta does something new with him.

Chappel posted a new teaser for The Giver and really sounds like a huge hit

Shame Chappel team arnt doing anything to capitalise being this close but looks like the focus has moved onto a new single

I think you are right on a global level but looking at her UK numbers at least (given the forum we're in) I think it's probably appropriate to say that her fanbase appears rather small. I actually looked at her discography based on this post and I was surprised at just how poorly Special did in the UK considering it was released when About Damn Time was in the middle of a 13-week top 10 run. I think it's fair to expect a slow start for her next single, but you never know.

Messy goes back to #1 on Apple Music for the first time since the superbowl

Just seen that LISA has a song with Future on her album out tomorrow that's getting support on NMF in Australia. Likely the focus track for her album release - might end up doing something if there's a music video and the song is good! Also noticed she has a song with Tyla which I look forward to hearing *_*

JEANNIE has a collab with Dua Lipa on her album which is being released next week - "Handlebars". It sounds nice from the snippet - might make a splash if a music video is released and it's the focus track of her album.

Haven't done much in the way of Amazon updates because it's been very stale recently - even worse than it usually is. Only notable thing is there are now two versions of "Abracadabra" at #16 & #22. It's likely top 10 combined so hopefully one version will drop out to allow the other to climb back into the top 10.

LISA, Raye & Doja's "Born Again" is also on the rise, up to #47. Hopefully LISA's album release will give the song a bit more of a boost!

I think that to some of the big dance producers now, the 2011-2 EDM-pop sound Pitbull and Guetta were part of back then is seen as dated now, although I would like more big synth based dance music to come back!
