Posted March 4Mar 4 Thought I would steal a former thread concept to battle out two similar songs each round to see which comes out on top!The theme for this series of Soundclash is "21st Century Song Covers" and they will have something similar about the two choices each week. Sometimes the covers will be from the same original recording artist, a similar genre or a similar time period. This first poll is a Queen-fest, and it is a showcase of British boyband Five vs. former Take That member Robbie Williams, both performing with Queen.Which one of the two do you like the most?
March 4Mar 4 Totally forgot about Robbie covering that and A Knights Tale is a film I've not seen in years (used to watch it plenty of times in the mid 00's). It's the better one here though so voting for it.
March 4Mar 4 I don’t like either - actually going for 5ive as at least they did something different with the song.
March 4Mar 4 Author Having listened to both of them back to back just now, I am saying that for me it is Robbie, but I quite like what Five did too. Shame Robbie's isn't on streaming anymore.
March 4Mar 4 Can't recall ever hearing the Robbie one, voting for 5ive as the rap adds something at least, although it's one of my least favourite singles from them.
