A bit of a disappointing update this week with only 5 adds. Good to see Nathan Dawe added though.

Looks like 'Arm's Length' had been quietly kept on the playlist alongside the 'Tracks from' the last couple of weeks for Sam, even though it wasn't explicitly stated on the website.

Thank f*** that FJW song didn't blow up in the end!

Surprised to see ‘Rushmere’ moved up to the A List! Albums out in a few weeks so be plenty of support for them so far into their careers!

Lady Gaga should have been Abracadabra + Tracks From Mayhem and also they should have added Confidence Man & Eliza Rose - I HEART YOU

They seem to have taken to waiting a week to apply the 'Tracks from' treatment so we might get it next week for Gaga.

Quite unique for an artist to have a song on the playlist while a different song as Tune of the Weekend.

What’s going on with the C-list? Down from 12 to 9 songs last week, now just 7 this week. Is it a way to keep the playlist fresher, as it forces them to remove tracks further up the playlist?

I imagine in a few weeks, there’ll be songs booted from the A-list prematurely with the amount of short runners on there at the minute.

I don’t understand it, I remember when there was like 20 songs each in the A & B Lists and 15 in the C List!

Maybe it's because fewer songs are making the top 40 overall these days, so that in turn means there are fewer songs to choose from to playlist? 🤷‍♂️

Yeh but there’s plenty of other songs out there they can play, they’ve always had a tradition that they aren’t just a top 40 station they ‘make the hits’. Plus they could just continue to playlist artists for longer alongside R2 instead of dropping them so quickly sometimes.
