quite a lot of potential top 40 new entries then... 2025 finally getting going! (in theory as many as 11 if the bolded in the above post plus WizTheMc and Ely Oaks make it, although I doubt Haim and Lil Tecca will actually have any chance of holding on)

would prefer Playboi Carti not smashing so much, though I expect he'll have a quick drop-off too besides maybe one track going viral and sticking around

expect Sleep Token will drop off a lot throughout the week too but they should be safe for top 40 with that start unless it's truly drastic

I'd prefer Playboi Carti over Alex Warren any time lol

It's unlikely that his song(s) will hold anyway.

I can't see how it will unfortunately, it doesn't really have any tangible playlist support.

Agreed still hoping and praying ,it's being used a lot on tik tok

Hoping JADE can at least stay top 200 on second day… that will be the tell tale sign.

I think she could do it, as even half of Friday’s streams should be JUST enough to stick top 200. I do believe the song has much more commercial appeal and replay value, than her last few.

FUFN having a higher debut (numbers) than 'IT girl' despite less playlist reach, is positive. But I s2g Spotify better add it to HHUK on Monday to help it stabilise!

The top 50 songs when both ACR and the 3 song rule are factored in. Streams for the songs on ACR have also been halved.

HAIM doing dance music now. o I'm not complaining.

G'won The Giver D

wow crazy high figures for The Giver, #1 safe this week then if she's done double than the ordinary song

ouch at Playboi Carti being so popular :/ so people are more interested in his music than new music from The Weeknd or Drake it seems

"The Giver" already top 10 on Amazon at #9. Chappell doing really well on Amazon with other tracks:

#5. "Pink Pony Club"

#9. "The Giver"

#10. "Good Luck, Babe!"

#13. "HOT TO GO!"

I'd wait for Tommorrows streams to see for sure 300k is possible to overcome if todays number is just curiosity streams

If it was any other rapper I would react that way, but Carti is absolutely horrible, both as an "artist" and person so this time I have to agree

I don't particularly like Carti but I see quite a bit of unnecessary hostility on here towards almost any rap song & artist that does well on the charts. If it was purely directed towards Carti I probably wouldn't have said anything lol

Not surprised at Carti having a big first day as the album has been highly anticipated for a while and pushed back several times (similar to Travis Scott's 'ASTROWORLD' and Lil Uzi Vert's 'Eternal Atake' which likewise had much bigger first days than their respective artists' previous releases), although even considering that I'm not sure I'd have called him managing to get the top song over 500k streams in about 13 hours. But yeah, it's probably not going to last very long given the generally not too positive reception it's had so far.

Also wasn't expecting such high Spotify numbers for Chappell considering the somewhat slow start it's had on Apple (still 'only' #9 there so far) - I heard it on the radio the other day and safe to say it's not for me (I don't know why I'm disappointed when most of her previous releases are also not for me but I hoped 'Good Luck, Babe!' was a sign of things to come rather than potentially a one-off) but I definitely hear the big hit potential in it.

I've not really paid much attention to Sleep Token's music so far but cool to see another heavy rock act that's able to grace the singles chart now! Also nice to see HAIM making a decent splash, feels like ages since their last album - and in going to check if this might outchart the lead single from that album, I've been reminded that there were actually no charting songs at all off it, I could swear I remember them getting at least a couple of low top 100 entries but apparently not! I guess their Taylor Swift stimulus package came after the album so it's belatedly coming through now lol ~

Such an amazing comeback from Haim

Could be their best ever besides the Calvin one (Pray to God)

They had a bunch of hits from album @1 but nothing from albums 2 &3, then they had a top20 as featured on Taylors No Body No Crime despite their contribution to the song being almost zero. funnily No Body is their only US top 100, they never made it with a solo Song.

Expecting a heavy drop from chappel today :/ already down a bit on Amazon to #8, cant believe its just low top 10 on Apple

Some Carti tracks already dropping on Apple which means basically no one has listened to them in last 12 hrs after the huge debut. Interestingly, the Kendrick duets are not among the most popular ones.
