  • It's a very PICKY thing but I do feel slightly embarrassed opening an app on my phone in public that says 'BJ.'

Yeah it's gonna have to be something like that cause it'll also be used as the favicon on browsers, and it's smaller than the app icon size.

I'm sure back in the day some people referred to BuzzJack as "BJ" for short, it was never questioned then. I guess an app icon is more visible and so should be clear and obvious and not leave any room for questioning.

A "B" icon is about as simple as you're going to get, but it doesn't seem that imaginative, unless you can get creative with the font and make it more snazzy.

As far as an app icon goes, maybe it could feature surrounded by some media symbols such as music notes?

Just 'B' like Anne Boleyn's necklace!

EDIT: Oh and the Pat a Cake buns from the nursery rhyme were just marked with 'B' as well!

I think it's one thing having it shortened in context on the site - it's another thing having members (some quite young) having site messages coming to their home screen with it, I can only imagine what their parents may think if they saw it!

Just playing around with the logo in dark mode, I came up with this amateur concept;

Remember this is the size we're dealing with for a browser favicon:

That won't be remotely readable - trust me when I say I played around with different alternatives last year and this was the clearest option!
