SoundClash returns with cover songs from the 21st Century going head to head with each other.

T-Boz, Left Eye and Chilli made up the original line-up of TLC in the 90s and they had quite a few hits for a short space of time.

That Stooshe cover was such a huge mistake a point when they had everything going for them, I'll never understand why that was considered a good idea.

What did happen with them after this single underperformed at the time?

Of the two I prefer Stooshe

It did kill their career (reminded me of how All I Wanna Do derailed Amy Studt’s career)

They did release music after but it didn’t chart

I think it killed all their momentum. They eventually released another original single called 'Slip' which didn't do great (and deserved a lot better), then released the album to little fanfare and that was it.

Stooshe though not a fan of either really. Stooshe definitely had a lot of potential to become like the 10s equivalent of Mis-Teeq but Waterfalls single-handedly killed their chances. God knows what their label was thinking. No one was asking for another version of Waterfalls.

I actually like Stooshe's version of 'Waterfalls' but in a "this is actually a good cover" kind of way. They should NOT have released it as a single though.

Weezer, although neither are great.

Stooshe really slipped up releasing that as a single, that was a pivotal make or break moment that needed a big (original) pop song.

I had to listen to both as well, but then voted Stooshe
