Aww I was really rooting for the other Debbie there, 1/17 is so euphoric, but I can't deny I did enjoy the ABBA-style throwback of the winning Debbie too, and fair play on it being a pretty close run thing even though she was seemingly an obvious winner right from the get-go, congrats to Addy!

I'll gladly take 9th and being nestled between two of my top 5 (still looking for that elusive 4th place finish to complete the top 10 but I'll get there) x I am fairly sparing with the 'epic instrumental' sound these days just because I've sent so many and I want the ones I do send to be really worth it, this beautifully melodic and ever-changing song from that beautiful neo-classical Japanese corner of the internet definitely stood out and I'm really pleased it connected with so many, especially after the 'rough year' (certified by ChatGPT x) I've been having thus far. Many thanks for all voters and I'd highly recommend his other material should you really like this, if you've got a spare hour, the 51 minute epic Sons is a similarly ever-changing journey in sound.

An excellent top 10, I liked all of them to some extent. Would've been lovely to see Persephonia keep up that early momentum but still a great result. East Ruk too low, but I was pleasantly surprised that even qualified, thanks for reminding me SuicideSheep has still somewhat got it x

I just had a complete panic as I think Debby Friday was my 10 in the semi and I had the nightmare of not voting and costing something a win... but I've just listened to Addy's track and I liked it a lot so I'm pretty certain I'd have voted for it too - phew!

Also, the worst thing about hosting was that I hated repeatedly having to type out every country with an accent, an umlaut, or anything else in it. You all made my life hard!!! I know copy/paste exists but sometimes I just want to bash out a country name quickly with my own two hands and that's where I appreciated the likes of Skall, FARC, and Oslol x

if it helps for future hosts, CTRL + ALT + letter at least makes typing á, é, í, ó, and ú pretty simple. as for the umlauts and other accents, I'm afraid it's memorise the alt codes or perish.

Good results all around, Rontvia was the only one I felt was really robbed (and GFRIEND could have been like a couple places higher) but other than that y’all did good despite being spoiled for choice!

I can't really pretend to be particularly enthused about this winner as it's a song I voted to veto (2 months in a row where the winning artist is surely going straight on the unofficial shadowban list, I just kind of thought Debbii should have been on it already after 2 top 10 hits in the space of less than a year ) and also ranked quite lowly, it did click with me a little bit more on my last listen as I said but was still ultimately in my bottom 10 oop (32nd, same position as 'Twist The Knife' for me as it were, and am still yet to vote for any of this year's winners although ALT BLK ERA came very close). The ABBA style just isn't really my cup of tea unforch but I definitely see why it did so well. The one nice thing I will say is that I look forward to hopefully another Bøtanikkä hosted contest now! As I'm not sure I'd have been able to convince Neliönoir to do the honours again if they had won that battle xx

We love to see Neliönoir with the back to back medals anyway and although they faltered in the end after leading for a long time, still nice for Pestolia to get their first medal as well! Also will happily take Scotland 2 matching their peak, I really got strong winner vibes from 'Cinderella' but I knew I was probably being a bit biased in that as it was my own comfortable fave, it wasn't too far off though! 3 of the 4 Persephonia artist recycles getting better results than when I sent them, happy that Momma managed to sneak into the top 20 and cool for Beth Ditto to make the top 10 this time though I didn't quite get into this song as much as the other recycles sadly. Also glad to see 'Hold Me' at least doing better than 'Contradictions' for Minuit Machine but I am a little surprised at it not being in the top 10 mix, certainly deserved to be!

The lower half of the top 10 is great, gave at least 5 points to all of the songs in 7th-10th place - Burial is remarkably consistent in BJSC, 2 of his 3 entries coming 10th while the other one came 12th! Also great that after their slow start Greenfroze got so much love in the latter end of the reveal and finished in the top 20, Asian pop ballads are not usually my thing at all but Song Sohee has such a striking voice, strong shades of Caroline Polachek. Yay for decent midtable showings for Macromia and Séyetana too (the latter deserved better once more but Igorrr coming a long way from crashing out with 17 points in the semi-final the first time he was sent so we take those).

Jadakissnia, Why So Sirius, Jupiterdonia and Palmyra in underrated corner this month - particularly quite disappointed that '666 (Demonio)' only barely did better than the last Why So Sirius entry oop. Hope that we won't have to wait so many years for another Palmyra entry this time!

Aw at the top 10 dream for me ultimately being in vain after being there for a fair bit of the reveal, instead just getting my second 16th place finish of the year and my 8th to date *_* 3 for 4 on top 20 hits in the year to date anyway which is good going - in fact just checked and it's surprisingly only the second time I've ever managed that after my opening run of 16-32-3-7 in 2020! I did come top 20 again the month after that time so here's hoping I can keep the consistency (minus the one flop) up again

69 points in the semi, nice x (appears I more or less retained the same voters from the semi to the final, aside from going from 1 to 0 from Skall and from 0 to 1 from Bøtanikkä).
