Is there an album that you love, largely due to it's production?

I think the best example I can give for me personally is Britney's album 'Blackout'. Just a different level when it comes to production, imo. One of my all time favourites due to this but probably my absolute favourite when I take into account just the production. The production really stands out on this to me.

Would agree with this. The production on Ray Of Light is just another level!

Haha! Well actually the first half of that album would actually be really well produced - it's only in the last few years that the Guetta quality has started to deteriorate. Songs like 'Titanium', 'Lo

I've been revisiting Blackout recently after 'Get Naked (I Got A Plan)' came on shuffle *.*

The first album to come to mind was Madonna's Ray Of Light! I do appreciate the lyrics and her post-Evita vocals too but the dreamy, ambient production of that record is stunning and continues to be a relevant reference point to this day.

My favourite album of all time is completely down to its production: Play by Moby! The atmosphere is amazing on it

Maybe obvious examples but the MJ holy trinity - Off The Wall, Thriller and Bad. All fantastic albums anyway but Quincy’s production is 🔥

I can already tell that Mangø's LEAST favourite produced album... ever... will be David Guetta's greatest hits.

Aaron Dressner's production on Taylor-Folklore

I'm going to echo the love for Madonna's Ray of Light.

It is probably my favourite album of hers.

Everything was exactly as it needed to be to move of from the shag-a-thon image of the early 90s and built on the softer side of Something to Remember and Evita.

For production only, i will go with Ray Lamontagne - Till The Sun Turns Black

Another one here echoing Ray of Light! I remember genuinely blown away by that album when I heard it for the first time. Madonna has quite a few albums here i'd say Confessions on A Dancefloor too although streaming editions aren't quite as iconic as the nonstop edition of the original CD. Madonna's production really is so strong though the Music album too also had great production so ahead of its time on that front.

More recently, Billies HIT ME HARD AND SOFT is one where I love the production.

Gaga's Born This Way too is my favourite of hers production wise so i'll note that here too.
