Haven't Arcade Fires last 3 or 4 albums all got to no1? They've definitely had a downturn in popularity.

Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else at #19 today perhaps it still has a shot at top 20? (I'll prepare my clown outfit for Friday when it lands at #21 again x)

Hoped Sleep Token would be on double that tbh. The singles outperforming all expectations has perhaps given us excessive expectations for the album?

Not sure what I expected of a new Arcade Fire album at this point, top 5 seems decent but sales are low? What did their last couple do does anyone know?

I'm pretty sure WE didn't get to #1, was it #3 from memory? And that was (just) before the allegations against Win Butler

I think it's kind of to be expected with all the controversy that happened resulting in a key member of the band being ejected.

Wow Sleep Token very low compared to the hype! Guessing the big fanbase we've seen are people who don't buy physicals and are hopping on board because of the cryptic TikToks.

Can have something different 9 week of ordinary

Yeah next week you can have 10 weeks of Ordinary

Oh my think I predicted >100k for sleep token

Sabrina coming for Simon & Garfunkel's weeks at #2 for a studio album record.

Their last 4 albums got to #1, including WE!

Had hoped Bananarama would be higher today that might have given them a chance of another top 100 album but with it at 88 today it wont happen.

The Kooks and Arcade Fire starting off decently but i think they might both miss the top 5.

actually surprised at how high Arcade Fire, though the fanbase had deserted them, and not cos of the accusations but cos of the drop in quality. moreover, it's a kinda rushed released, the album was announced 1 month ago, 1 month of pre-orders is not a lot

PPC looking at bit more safe for number 2 today 🙌🙌🙌 Hopefully it can do enough to avoid acr

21 peak on the official chart and his 24 peak on Spotify are a thing that won't change 😂

It's about the same gap as last Tuesday between Rayvn and Chappell, think PPC will be 3 again

it's not only people not buying physicals, they're not streaming it either

Its Spotify debut says otherwise, how many other rock bands manage such impressive Spotify debuts? All of the singles have plummeted after the initial impact so makes sense the album would do the same.

It's all about expectations, I was expecting to even challenge Ordinary for #1 on album release date and he top tracks to do at least 500K

wasn't expecting the top track to do 250K, thought the buzz was there and that the band was super popular and would easily do >100K on release week

The expectations were way too high I’d never even heard of them until a few months ago
