Wouldn't resetting Someone You Loved being potentially damaging to Survive chart-wise?

If the label have any say in it, I would have thought they would want to concentrate on promoting his new material over anything old.

Whereas Oasis had no new material, so resetting Wonderwall was more beneficial?

Ouch at Lewis I expected a drop but not that much as I’d assumed the Glasto effect would continue.

Could be hard for him to get the number 1 unless the physicals drop early.

It's why I wait for at least 3 days of streaming before I get hopes u, this has been the trend with a lot of big releases this year

I don't think a reset would have any influence either way on Survive, unless Someone You Loved somehow ended up blocking it from a higher peak (very unlikely). Whether it's in the top 40 or not isn't really any kind of promo!

That said, I'd be surprised if the OCC granted it a reset anyway - it certainly wouldn't qualify as per their own rules but who knows if they'll do a Wonderwall with it.

Someone You Loved doesn't need a reset, anyway. It's already certified 10x Platinum.
