It can’t be reset it’s too old

In theory not allowed but the OCC did reset Wonderwall last year in similar circumstances when it shouldn’t have been so guess we’ll have to wait and see if they want to apply their rules correctly or not

I guess “Someone You Loved” must still be the most streamed ever. I was shocked that it was ahead of “Shape Of You” back in 2022, but since then SYL has been outperforming SOY.

I’d be shocked if they re-set it - it feels very different from re-setting something 30 years old.

I see Noah Kahan has a set tonight, can stick season be reset? That would be pretty hilarious

it’s 3 years old next week so even if it was reset I think it would get punted straight back to ACR

I think the difference is that Wonderwall wasn't released during streaming era. I don't know if it's a written rule, but once an old song reach its peak in popularity, it gets reset fairly easily (see also: Sparks, Sultans of Swing etc) whereas SYL has had its streaming peak years ago and it's not going to reach those heights ever again.

Also I suspect because so many Oasis songs had done enough to chart that week they just decided to re-set and showcase the Top 3. Not saying that was necessarily the right decision but I can see how it happened.
