This is a pretty weak comeback - "most other people" appears to be two or three other posters. I don't understand comparing artists' sales to anything other than their previous work, and any general

  • That moment when having more realistic expectations makes you the one who is 'miles out of touch'

  • We stan the implication that Lorde is a big enough artist for a 13k Monday midweek figure to be disappointing.

Yes, I am equally upset about how I’ll deal with it in my spreadsheets.

How are the OCC handling it?

Do what Dionne Warwick did for "Thats What Friends Are For"..just credit them as "and friends".. 🤣

it's not like a charity supergroup though, it's more like if John, Paul, George & Ringo suddenly had solo artist credits on all of The Beatles' songs (or if all Eurythmics songs suddenly had Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart as co-credits.. oh wait...)

just seems to be high key messy tagging for the sake of visibility on Spotify of the real life members of these fictional bands

was equally silly last year when Adam Port & Stryv gave their record label and another group Stryv is part of an "artist credit" on 'Move' which I likewise don't recognise as real artist credits

I remember from the itunes thread on here that there was once a Chris Brown album on itunes some time in the mid 2010s that credited all the producers and songwriters in the song titles.
