Good to see PinkPantheress moving up this week, I did think ‘Can’t Decide’ would have done too.

Nice to see so much dance music on the playlist at the moment - would be good if the less ‘generic’ songs such as Barry Can’t Swim, Chloe Callet and Interplanetary Criminal can move up over the next couple of weeks

It’s the Tune of the Weekend, which I think is decided at the same time as the playlist so I assume they did know about it but don’t feel that they’re a big enough name to insta-add (I’m surprised at that as well tbh)

tldp have been teasing the song for a few weeks and performed it at bst Hyde park saying it'll be out in the next few weeks so not really a surprise release so they would've been aware, surprising they didn't add tbh

Wasn't Chris Lake playlisted before? I can't imagine "Changes" or "Carry You Away" back in 2006 not being playlisted

Yes Chris Lake was on the playlist in 2006 with Changes, it made the A List (fortunately that's all in the Radio Playlist Archive on here).

Only 5 months late to the Chris Lake track! I guess it’s being pushed as a single along with the release of his debut album.

That and he's a part of the upcoming Radio 1 Dance Weekend lineup alongside Chloé Caillet and Sonny Fodera, the latter of which I'd expect they'll add his new single this week coming.

Oh yes! I also expect Chloé Caillet will be C-listed for 5 weeks instead of 3 which most tracks are.
