Toward the end of Disc 2 you end up with songs that are probably very popular on BBC Radio 2 but no one's buying the single - Shania Twain appears to be a culprit of that. But then Conan Gray is an anomaly. Why bother with him at all, to continue his single releases on the numbered volumes regardless of how it performed? I gave the album a listen on Friday - Saturday via Spotify and I agree there's some decent numbers here. Agree with the Duran Duran track, it's very 80's but in a good way. Holly Humberstone is underrated too. Quite liked Sabrina Carpenter's track as well!
August 2Aug 2 Censoring on NOW cds has been paticularly confusing lately..Nicki's swear word in 'Beauty & The Beat' wasn't removed. Other recent examples I can think of is 'About Damn Time' by Lizzo and 'Filthy Rich' by Ella Henderson.Another example is on Now 71 with Katy Perry.Absolutely not complaining I prefer the original versions of songs. That being said, why can't we just get the normal version of every song on there, for example the original version of 'Leak It' by FLO

It's the biggest oversight of a big song not Track 1 and idk but something tells me there is a spin-off coming where Rein Me In is Disc 1 Track 1 soon.

I wish they did a Save Your Tears with Rein Me In and include the solo version on 122 and the duet version on 123. The first edition I don't have but costs about £50 secondhand.

In hindsight it definitely looks odd, but with how it had done at the time of release it probably should have been more like Disc 2, track 3.

August 3Aug 3 There will be a good reason for that, like a song on those albums being specifically available for licensing on CD but not for download. Every single song must be available for distribution digitally for the album to be available. Sometimes they get around this by locking songs to 'album only' but some labels don't want the songs up digitally at all. Of course, they could omit these songs from the tracklist, but I guess they want to make the CDs as strong as possible.They probably don't bother with the extra digital licensing cost for some of the Extras and spin-offs as they sell in such small quantities digitally anyway that it might cost more for the digital license than what they would get back in download sales.

But yes quite likely a lot of the later year releases won’t be made available.Now never make the Extras available to stream at all, I suppose to keep the ‘collectors edition’ nature of them.
