Twitter, from an article I think

I can't find anything other than one tweet referencing it, not sure it's true but happy to be proven wrong

George is certainly bringing the drama, not sure I like him and there's every chance he'll get progressively worse but he's going to ruffle feathers more than anyone else I think.

Vote to save confirmed omg cheeseblock

REALLY happy about this . There’s been a few evictions the past two series actually that would have gone a lot different if it was Vote To Save and people that coasted all the way to either the end or last few days due to Vote To Evict so I’m glad for the change .

The gender conversation tonight is exactly what I love about the show! Zelah and Feyisola making compassionate, intelligent points based on their lived experience and someone like Cameron showing interest and being open to learning. A world away from the hateful fear mongering that often pollutes the conversation today.

Thrilled about the 'vote to save' news, also. Obviously, you do get some rotten bigger personalities, but we've lost some great characters in the past while others have coasted to the final. Zelah should definitely be going nowhere now as he seems very popular amongst Big Brother fans already.

We get rid of Emily just to get someone almost just as worse in George. In so worried he could ruin this series, he's absolutely f***ing insufferable and not funny in the slightest.

Is ruffling feathers like him actually entertaining? I find it ugly to watch but each to their own.

Pretty sure it's a real article by the way! https://beingbigbrother.blog/post/796135943791935489/george-is-a-russell-brand-and-andrew-tate-fan-who

Don't really know what anyone would get out of making it up lol.

I'd say so, other than his biscuit comment to Cameron which was extremely out of pocket. Everyone else is mostly getting along and George is getting under their skin, so it's giving them something to talk about. It's early days though so, like I said, there's every chance it could take a much sourer turn (especially if he doubles down on politics etc).

Thanks for the link, I did do a thorough Google search but it wasn't showing last night. Yikes at it being true - I don't have an issue with a range of political viewpoints in the house, the point of Big Brother is to have people from a range of different backgrounds and opinions, but why are they so keen to cast the most outspoken Conservative/Reform-type people? Nathan trying so hard to gain some kind of platform from Big Brother has felt particularly ugly whenever I see someone post about him on Twitter.

Also people make things up on Twitter all the time, let's be real...!

I'm always in two minds over Vote to evict / save. Part of Big Brothers appeal was that it's the only reality series where you have been able to actually vote out your least favourite (and C4 era which is still my favourite almost always used vote to evict!).

Vote to save is kind of better for coaster like characters but then last series Segun was arguably the main coaster and I don't think he ever faced a public vote 🤣 so I guess it depends on who's actually up for the vote. Interesting if its vote to save though that they didn't ask us to vote for our favourites for the launch night vote? I still feel like Emily could still return at some point.

For me the momentum of the last series took a nosedive after the episode where both Lily and Khaled were out via vote to evict. No matter what you thought of either, they were both key players in the series who felt like finalists on paper. Ali then absolutely walked that final vote. So I welcome the change, with that fresh in my mind, but shall see how it transpires - hopefully a more eventful road to the end, dependant on who is up in the first place indeed.

The only way it falls apart vote to save is when both your faves are up aganist someone else whom you now can't evict so you have to choose between your faves

I think they assume that because it’s a “hot” issue it will create debate and draw people in but the kind of people who watch BB are not the same kind of people who will tolerate or enjoy those viewpoints, so it kind of backfires when the fans just don’t enjoy that kind of housemate but they are so intent on casting them. It kind of works for say I’m A Celeb with a wider audience sadly but this is a more limited audience and none of that is needed.

They love a hot button casting, I think Cameron is a bit with the farming talk and a CBB example is getting Kate Middleton’s uncle to “spill the beans” despite him saying nothing and being first out lmfao

In tonight's show:

Late arrivals seek opinions
Two housemates grow closer
George and Teja grow closer
Another evil eye is delivered

“Two housemates grow closer” better not be a showmance I swear to god, it can’t be any worse than Nathan and Rosie I suppose

At least we don't have Emily in there any more, going by her comments on L&L last night sounds like she'd have ended up throwing herself all over Tate at some point.

Richard is discussing nominations!!

Seems like the four are allowed to.

Definitely backed themselves into a corner with this twist because they clearly can't reprimand them for it but opens up so many doors for pot-stirring tearsmile
