At No.3 is Kylie Minogue with Tension Tour – Live 2025. It was released on streaming platforms last September but has now dropped on double CD and vinyl formats (3,656 of its 3,682 total sales this week are from physical).

Last week number 21 sold 4319 so based on that she wont go top 20 as i really cant see much further sales for the week for Kylie.

I think anyone who visits the site will own a copy and if not a large percentage will so i dont think that would help much,

The physicals need to be cheaper for at the least reduce the shipping.

The 26 sales are from streaming/downloads so far this week not since it was released.

It appeared in the Top 60 iTunes Charts so pick up a few download sales.

There's no DVD for the tour which may have affected sales. Maybe Netflix have the rights to it and it'll be aired alongside the documentary?

'Tension Live' debuted #7 on the download chart when it was first released, one place behind 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' which had 402 downloads that week.

i mean its only available on her website so what can we expect

not on hmv or amazon so just a money grab release

Still think the Netflix thing was supposed to be out same time but has been delayed again to add a Kylie Xmas section onto it

Presumably this release will be similar to Kylie (debut album) being midweek #3 on Monday but ending up at #30 on Friday, but hopefully Tension Live manages higher than that. Can't see this having a Top 20 outcome though.

A live vinyl/CD restricted to her online artist store, renders this as being quite a niche product, so I suppose they're not too driven by a chart placement, or they'd strive to make it more accessible.

How’s it a money grab by not being available everywhere? Surely they would want the opposite to sell more?

I guess they'd save on distribution costs by cutting out the likes of HMV/Amazon & keeping the products as "direct to consumer" through Townsend. So in that sense keeping it "in house" could increase profits?

I guess but still not a money grab if sales are low and they are sitting on stock in the warehouse rather than distributing it.

It definitely feels a very ‘fan’ release - there hasn’t been a lot of social activity or mail outs this week.

People are posting their Townsend emails in SH - looks like there are more sales to come.

Strange they don’t have the stock ready based on the extended pre order period but it seems to happen across the market place to every artist at some point.

Thought the total sales would be higher given it’s a CD and Vinyl offering. No DVD is odd but as has been said they must be saving it for a stream only deal perhaps linked to Netflix.

I’ve not bought it yet. I’ve streamed it loads on a loop and my Spotify playlist has passed 20,000 saves and it includes Taboo/OANLT near the top and Good as Gone….the former is outstreaming all the other tracks on the album!

This is a good thing in terms of the chart( not for the fans waiting) but it means they might have a nice few sales to add hopefully which could be the difference in it making or missing the top 20.

Hopefully they manage to get them out this week and the sales are not split over 2 weeks!
